Your comments at 1:34 completely mirror how I feel and made me cry this morning. I didn’t discover campers for 45 years but it’s the only place I truly feel at peace now. I’m so thankful and feel so lucky to have it.

With such excellent content like your Scottish trip it really shows how poor normal tv has got and why more people are switching to watching stuff online. A wonderful and moving series of videos on the country I am proud to call my homeland and great to see you over in the Cairngorms/Royal Deeside which is my back garden. Living here we take a lot of the scenery for granted till you see the effect it has on people like the pair of you. OK you said some names wrong but I would do the same down in Wales. Skye is always busy these days but I would recommend you come back in September/early October when the heather is out and the leaves turn colours. Truly full marks and haste ye back.

WOW ! I recently joined THE ALTERNATIVE LIVING GROUP and had a 4 day trip away on site in LAKESIDE with the lovely BRADLEY and LINDSEY (Hosts/Owners). This was my first trip back to Nomadism for more than 10 years. I have spent the whole of a sunday afternoon watching your 'epically beautiful' adventures around the U.K. - So inspiring and just confirms that my planned trip of the 'WEST COAST U.K.' from September 2018 on a very slow route with no major plans is going to be AWESOME! Aww. Don’t sweat it. Be happy. Clutch failure happens to everyone. I’ve had two on a ‘55 Chevy wagon in one trip to California . Each was $400. One obviously was poorly done. Motor on. Love your photography. It’s fun watching enthusiastic people trying to communicate their loves. 😍

One of, if not THE BEST travelogues for campervanning in Scotland. Shame about the clutch but you were left with no choice and made the right decision. Our tale of woe started in March, we were due to pick up the campervan on March 18th but due to the "Beast from the east" and all roads being snowed in around us we had to wait for a day for the roads to reopen before we could collect the van. After picking it up we headed straight for John O' Groats in one drive of ten hours from Co. Durham. Fabulous weather for the drive along the north coast to Durness and then turning south down the west coast and that's when the problems began. Parking up in a layby for the night and straitening the van up the front wheel went off the tarmac and onto soft grass and sank up to the axle in a remote area with no phone or WIFI. Luckily, a local pulled up and gave us a lift to where we could get a signal and call the RAC who said they would be there in an hour, no one turned up. Fortunately next morning another local pulled over and towed us out. When we got a signal the RAC called to say that they would be with us soon, 14 hours late, we told them, "Don't bother". Next, an idiot in another campervan came over onto our side of the road and smashed both their and our wing mirror. Next, I got a Urinary infection, 7 weeks on, still got it. We came home early. Out of an expected week, we managed four days. I would still go back tomorrow but need to pay off the £450 to cover damage to the vehicle, which wasn't our fault. Next year though, I'll be back to Scotland. Just a suggestion for next time, go further north to Wester Ross and Sutherland but not in the summer, Midges and Cleggs (Horse Flies) are a nightmare in the warmer months.
@ExplorerBuddies6 жыл бұрын
That is so nice of you to say that, thank you 🤗 can’t believe the bad luck you guys had in Scotland. That must have been so disappointing for you 😩 I hope your next trip is everything you have dreamed of. We will deffo be back to explore more, so sad you can’t go in the summer. I can’t risk it as I suffer really bad from bites, ended up in hospital on an antibiotic drip after a bite last year 😬

There you are! I've been checking in every day for Part 4 :-) Wonderful story-telly & splendid scenery but my fave clips are of your food. I'm always interested in what other folks knock up in their vans..we have four rings, a grill & an oven & a BBQ & we LOVE cooking. It's a major part of the adventure-menu planning & we are not restricted thankfully. Oh and you'll be back to Scotland-I'll betcha! And the book was pants, total nonsense, prefer an OS map any day. Keep up the splendid work both. Helen x

An amazing video, stunning photography. Just caught your previous videos recently and was waiting for the next instalment I could not believe what i was watching at 14:51 as that is my daughter clipping into her skis and the rest of us coming down just before. a small world indeed. Friday the 6th of April, we were there in our van.

Wow, how amazing is that!! We were sat in the car park watching with great envy, would have loved to have been on those slopes, it looked so much fun. Your daughter looked so sweet in her skis, had to capture it 🤗

Awesome video thank you , we first went the the north of Scotland in 2012 and now we’ve lived there for 2 years !! What a place love it 😍 If you ever need somewhere to stay near Bettyhill then you can park next to our house as we have the best view of the village and the beach , Coming from a fellow camper 😜 😎

Your journeys are so beautiful and touching. I've longed to experience Scotland for most of my life, and your videos almost make me feel like I've been there. 'Epically beautiful ".... indeed! Best wishes to you both. Hopefully no more troubles with Florence for a long time.

Explorer Buddies I could tell that you both simply fell in love with Scotland. I believe I saw a few tears in those eyes when it came time to leave. Your beautiful videos make it so easy to feel like we are there with you. I really love the music you use in your videos also.... just beautiful.

Cheese & Onion crisp sandwich! "made my day as a youth" sometimes pigged out with a cheddar cheese triangle spread onto one side before the crisps were added and a slither of ketchup on the other slice...... Love your videos. Oscar and Lynn. We are "Martha and the Vandwellers" see you around one day.

Ooh another of my favourite sandwiches is cheese spread and marmite, on white sliced bread, give that one a go 😉

@@ExplorerBuddies I don't do white bread anymore but will give that a go on a seeded batch loaf. :)
