Normally in every dungeon there's a 1000 turn limit meaning you can only spend that amount of turns on a floor Think Kaizo lowered the turn limit as this is kaizo after all

The vanilla version is by far my favorite game of all time, and I think based solely on how I’ve seen people talk about it, it’s in the top 5 of everyone who plays it. I highly recommend playing it on a handheld device, be it DS, 3DS, or phone emulator, but even if you can’t make that work it’s still a phenomenal experience to play on PC or a home console

As soon as the game started and the explanation came by I thought, damn, I would hella enjoy something like this with harder bosses, more monster houses, harder enemies, but traps, nah, traps are just annoying

I know this isn’t the only Kaizo hack for Sky, I think Explorers of Alpha is a really popular difficulty hack because it turns the spawn rate up for Pokemon in dungeons, Explorers of Skies revamps every dungeon and gives some a unique gimmick (examples they give are “Drenched Bluff has a dangerous 6th floor, Waterfall Cave is always rainy and max darkness, there's no food in the Northern Desert”), and PMD 99 makes every dungeon function like Destiny Tower, 99 floors and you start at lvl 1. That said the best thing about SkyTemple is that if you ever want to make a hack work like that, it’s surprisingly easy to do so. I’ve seen a lot of rom editors for a lot of different games and while SkyTemple is really complex when it comes to scripting (like dialogue, cutscenes, stuff like that), making actual dungeon gameplay changes is super easy. I’d recommend looking into SkyTemple if that’s the kinda hack you want, and seeing if you could make it yourself!

They should've made it more harder then this Like make look like items like Oren Berry, Reviser Seed and Mix Elixir more common Also make enemies have lots of IQ like every enemy has like 999 IQ And finally, they should like add Kecleon to spawn as a regular spawn with it's max stats into dungeons and make sure he always spawns at double speed Also... even if you make it to Dialga, he should be Level 100 and with Time Tripper makes it the final kaizo trap

@@zetzo4120 haha I did, this thumbnail was specifically inspired by Pokémon Challenges’ video on Emerald Kaizo. But oh well. Tbh it’s been so long since I released it, something tells me a thumbnail change would be too late to impact performance in the long run. Still, I appreciate the criticism, and the kind words!

So you just need to grind until you kill everything in the next dungeon with a regular attack because you lose all pp and survive all the other traps with enough hp. Also just grind for gummies to get the trap destroyer ability.

I personally use the MelonDS emulator! DeSmuMe also works pretty well but with specifically mystery dungeon playing at a higher resolution causes one extremely weird visual glitch in a Lategame cutscene

I've always thought that randomly generated games don't work so well as kaizo. For me, the biggest part of a kaizo challenge is learning the level and getting a little further with each run as you learn the layout. With a random dungeon you can never learn and improve your run. There's too much luck required.

I’ve heard rumors of a different Kaizo hack that isn’t randomized, each floor is a specific pre-determined puzzle. But I haven’t played it yet. Maybe soon!

I HIGHLY recommend playing the original game first, that’s a very good idea. But, this video only covers the first handful of levels and skips most of the story in those sections of the game, so it CAN be watched without spoiling anything
