I don't know if this is just of the fangame. But there is a dungeon, that happens this. You have a partner that can't move and attack (he just have rest) the entire dungeon (for story reasons) ans 1 of hp. And bassically that sungeon is really hard because the other pokemons will attack him without mercy. The first part of the dungeon is a bit easy, You have 3 partners. Those 2 can protect the one asleep. The problem you need to discover this yourself and the second part of the dungeon is just 2 partners (one asleep) making this dungeon even harder

The bow color is determined by what the favorite color setting is on the ds (or emulator of said ds). It's always gonna be pink unless you change the hardware settings.

Yeah I know, I think I talk in more detail about it in an earlier episode but I was told when joining the hacking scene that it’s like a 1/20 chance of NOT being the DS color so that’s what I’m like, hoping for. Like just building up this bit until it finally turns another color, or it never changes and the bit just goes on forever

@@ODISeth I've never heard of that 1/20 chance thing but what I know from experience is you get a second aura bow after beating the Marowak dungeon's left chamber and that can be a different color than the quiz bow. Not sure if the Marowak bow is always brown, as I only got it once, but that could be the case.

I appreciate the concern for my health and I don’t think it’s invasive, it’s reasonable to worry about if someone’s goin through something. That said it’s not, the randomizer nuzlocke is a lot of fun. Other things in life are taking a toll on me and I think I might be “playing up” my distress or investment in the characters for the camera as a way to release other toll ya know?

on the Silkoon run, you maybe should have forbidden it from using Comet Punch against the Makuhita, forcing it to use Peck. I don't knoe how much farther that would have taken you, but I think for a Mystery Dungeon Nuzlock it's important to manage what moves your partner can do and change it depending on the situation. Multiple times a floor if need be.

I’m having a fun time watching these randomizers, I found you again after losing track of the chinchou/jirachi randomizer! trying to catch up with it again but I’ve been busy. the randomizer nuzlocke sounds like a fun challenge though. iirc isn’t there a way to toggle control of your teammates with the randomizer? i feel like that would make life a little easier for such a brutal challenge. looking forward to more videos of this kind! ps. i pronounce phione fee-oh-nay :D

However I disabled that mod, precisely because the mod makes it easier. I think the unreliability of not being able to control my partner is fun, and adds a layer of chaos that I don’t think I’d be able to get with that mod.

Also, forgot to mention. the ludicolo thing was taking from the dance sprites! also iirc lombre in the last episode picking up the paper, that was a rescue team animation! i think some of those animations are pulled from like. when certain mons get special movements! wobbufets salute was also bc it does that in base sky! so you get to see some fun lil animations from both rescue team and sky if you get certain mons :D (ex. celebi will jump around the room when in the sleeping mode iirc)

Lovely episode for today! :D However with randomizers there's one odd quirk unfortunately, if both you and your partner are body size 4 pokemon, ex: Wailord & Milotic, the game will softlock you from entering any dungeons from the menu as the max body size is 6. So watch out! The game will only allow you to enter, only if its forced through a story cutscene, outside of that its game over. ;v; Unlikely there will ever be a 1 body size unlock for all Pokemon in the SkyTemple Randomizer, but hey maybe one day.

I haven't thought about that! Frankly I'll count a softlock as a failure if I ever encounter one, thankfully that's the kinda softlock we'd discover pretty early, so it's not like it'll devestate a really promising run since it's destined to die in Beach Cave. Still, could be interesting to see!
