the live action sand brown (sorry. I wanted to write one to balance the score because I'm sure actors have also ruined characters by not liking them. I would like to mention that all the main actors and actress from this live action really love their characters and did a wonderful job. too bad that not all live adaptations are as good as this.

I love Taz Skylar’s Sanji so much. He brings out the warmth and kindness of a character whose passion is cooking - and cooking *for* people. You can see how pleased he is when he can feed people and give them a great experience with his food. It makes him so instantly endearing. I hope they keep leaning into this interpretation of Sanji, because I absolutely love it!
@enlongjones2394 Жыл бұрын
I particularly like how his attitude shifts during his opening scene cooking on the line. First he brightly describes his True Bluefin Sauté to Zeff. And when Zeff rejects it he gets a lot less polite and his voice sounds rougher. “If I have to cook ONE more prime rib medium-well, I am going to die of BOREDOM, you old shitbag!” You get his passion for cooking, as well as his long history with Zeff and his frustrations.

The amazing dedication he put into making sure that he portrays our loveable gentleman cook as accurate as possible... I can't even put into words the appreciation. I hope he gets more credit because he turned a perverted silly character (no hate to original Sanji) to an absolute suave gentleman and it was such a breath of fresh air but somehow still feeling like Sanji. This is the movie where I want people fly and the fight scene looked like it's a Stephen Chow movie. zoro and sanji can just dash across the screen and sends people flying everywhere.

The actor did a great job as Sanji and his fights are awesome. But I can't help but see Beck Bennet every time I glance at him.

Beck Bennett looks EXACTLY like the young Sanji in the show lol

2:40-2:46 From what I can tell (I know about the show just haven't seen or read much of the anime and manga), apart from that being a run of Zoro and Sanji (and basically the entire straw hat crew) to not bad mouth Nami, it's also Sanji's rule not to insult a woman. I just know it's his and Zeff's rule to never harm a woman.

He was made for this role. just like every other character in the OP live adaption. I had my doubts about this when I first heard of it, but so far, it's the only live adaption anime I enjoy. I like to think of live action adaptions of animated shows to be like fanfics. They don't follow the story exactly like the original, but still make a show worth watching.
