@@Starracer22 You need to express yourself to someone who clearly will listen to you. Your friends seem to not want to bother themselves with having to listen to your issues or struggles. They may not be doing it intentionally but i can see that you feel isolated. I went through the same thing in highschool. It seemed that opening up about my health problems just made my friends distance themselves from me. I almost went through with taking my own life. But people will only show their true intentions after something significant happens. But that doesnt have to be your case. Please stay strong for your little princess. She needs you and i know its hard trying to pretend like your a super hero but everyone has a point of exhaustion. Things get better if you try to make them. Its all about perspective and surrounding yourself around positivity. Your only human and there is no shame in being tired of life. I'm not sure how to tell you this, but you don't have 100% control over your actions. People are a product of their environment. The world created this person, so a series of variables in the environment created him. What I'm seeing is that the people around him were not actually listening. They were just going through motions. The internal error he had, needed intervention, but nobody around him saw it. This is a lesson that we all need to learn from.
@premiertrainingFL14 күн бұрын
@@monkey_man70-1 you may not have 100% of control of anything EXCEPT your actions.
@monkey_man70-114 күн бұрын
@@premiertrainingFL but all your actions will always be based on what options you see available to you at the time and based off past risk and reward or experience, in addition, the implication behind every human action is it will generally try to be in their own best interest at minimum. If you had a terrible education, or bad parents, you see less options or a different set of options based on your knowledge and experience. (These are the things we didn't have much control over) The closer to death you are, the more desperate you become, typically taking more and more risk. This can be avoided, but it means the person would have had to dedicate time to learn and grow on their own years before their 'calamity' or 'big problem' showed up in their life. In my experience, I've learned not to expect that from people. Unless the person has been taught to go on that path of growing, I expect they will make more severe mistakes than someone who is continually getting stronger as they grow and age over time. I think, you have control, but most likely not 100 percent over the outcome of a situation, so sometimes your choice will end in an unexpected consequence. It depends on what you're able to see and understand at that moment.

Just, wow. Haunting. This doc hit me really hard. My little brother looks almost exactly like this dude (yes, he's white) and ironically LOVED Danny Phantom as a kid. As he got older (I'm 6 years older than my baby), his behavior and isolation became a HUGE concern for me. My parents kind of wrote it off and I was like, nah. Once he graduated I got him a job, moved him into my home (I was already married with a 2yo by this point), and just loved him. Had him spend time with us, went to parks, went out to eat, went to the movies... CONSTANTLY. I refused to see my baby isolate and deteriorate. My brother is 22 now and THRIVING. He got over his social anxieties, started smoking weed (he needed it, lol), he manages a CBD store where we live now. So proud of him. Watching this literally makes me feel like this could have been my baby. If someone would've just cared about Randy, if someone would've just given him a different perspective... Just sad.

Really? Have you ever tried to confront this kind of behaviour online? You get a ton of backlash "leave him alone" "he's just trying to find himself" "stop being so negative" just go to reddit and you'll see a ton of people like this, loving to say edgy things just to piss people off. Why are people assuming that in real life he was anything but normal and that his parents didn't want to appear "unsupportive" by challenging his behaviour because that's what you're deemed as now if you as much question the slightest thing that anyone does. Everyone bemoaning the fact that this guy didn't get attention and no one cared but very likely people tried to care or show they did and he hated them for it. Just voice one dissenting view online and see the backlash also why his parents would or should know what t shirt one of the columbine killers wore I don't know. The whole thing is bull$hit

My guess is he was a Malignant Borderline , Borderline co-morbid with Anti-Social Personality Disorder. I respectfully disagree. He sounded like a loose cannon to me. Remember, he's filming himself and speaking through the camera, not to a person. Additionally, taking into account the mini-biography here, the one factor of him showing his emotions is not the measure if he would have been responsive to therapy. He obviously hid his intentions and ideations with death and murder to EVERYONE, outside his need to brag through masking these thoughts and plans. That's my take. The guy was long-gone , a freak and sicko with no moral compass or empathy to submit to therapy. And, for those who think I am harsh in being disgusted with him, I have had plenty experiences with sick, wicked, cruel bastards. Consider, the Personality Disorders I named here are SANE, NOT INSANE. They are responsible for their actions and CHOOSE their actions. Also note, that personality disorders are NOT mental illnesses. They are not chemical imbalances. The Bible has a word for these people, reprobate, beyond help, because they have too long persisted in their wickedness. Being overly compassionate for these scumbags - male or female, only encourages a lack of wisdom and cementing wicked behaviors. That is my opinion after much thought and study of certain kinds, besides having had direct experience with them.

This has nothing to do with LONLINESS. This is about ignoring clear signs of mental degradation. And the fact that you, yourself are making it about "no friends" IS THE PROBLEM. They leave their kids locked in a room with screens and he has NO DIRECTION and wasn't pushed in any direction. White families tend to see their weird family members as "eccentric" or "nerdy". I think it comes from a need to fit in to that perfect suburban family, so the craziness gets ignored. These people have children and then ignore them. They pay more attention to the family pet, than they do their own teenaged kids. Look at Jeffrey Dahmer. All of his weirdness was simply overlooked and categorized as being "Off". He had a head in a box, that smelled bad in his room. Victims were stumbling out of his apartment. Gary Ridgeway... killed 45 women. His co-workers joked about how he looked EXACTLY like the killer and was interviewed twice. No one called the police on him and he even hung out with cops in bars. I think white privilege is why these men are allowed to become killers.

He also at a point recalls how he wold be most worried for his dads life prioritizing it above all. Its clear he had cares and feelings along side with his problems and doubts, but as his feelings or actions towards other became less and less reciprocated he started questioning the value of them, shifting is focus on louder attempts at attention. And this is not something kids do, its a rule of thumb in human behaviour, in an office if there is a meeting and all opinions are being considered but yours, you will start ignoring others opinions and voicing yours louder until acknowledged.

Please refrain from reproducing if you actually plan to go out of your way to cap how much you love your kids for the sole purpose of "not making them wimps". One thing I noticed is that at one point, he talks about how "the most random" things will make him cry, yet stuff that you're supposed to cry at doesn't. He cites the numerous times hes cried hard at the song Let It Go from frozen. Which is really fascinating that he gives that specific example, because I really think thats a giant clue to his narcissism and self obsession, and in turn a severe lack of empathy to other people than himself. The song is about Elsa 1. Being isolated from the world around her and 2. Being able to finally "let go" of the things trapping and holding her back and be herself. Which randy would probably find extremely relateable in his view. It reminds him of himself and his own journy, and so it makes sense he'd get emotional, because his mind can warp it to relate to him. And yet, as he said, normal things people would cry at (tragedies and suffering of others for example) leaves him unaffected, because he cant empathize with people outside of himself.

I know your trying to cover something up thats happen to you in life but being careless and arrogant blinded by pride is not helping anyone your just making the world worse, you think you and randy are so different but your not you both took difference routes to ensure self destruction regardless of who or what it hurts. Believe it or not im here for people like you and randy to try and guide the correct way i was to late for him but your still alive. Theres way to many prideful people in the world that those specifically made to help are lashed out and attacked the most which is quite sad, it might be easy to bash someone or gang up on an attack most do it because it makes them feel like they have some kind of power and control in their life many do it because they are miserable and feel better after attacking someone in both of these cases actions done or done just to be harmful and destructive just because they wanted to theres no tearing down in order to restructure and rebuild stronger and better nothing good or positive comes of it so no lives are changed or saved because pride has many to many arrogant and hostile and very rebellious.

This story terrifies me on a personal level, particularly when it comes his infatuation with Ember having consumed his life. I had a friend in college who drew and created her own characters, making multiple social media profiles for each of them and having conversations with herself like Randy did. I called the college and asked them to do a wellness check when she started talking about them as if she knew them personally, or as if they were physically present in the room. I really hope she got the right help.

We as a society can do a lot better in giving support to each other, children, acquaintances, strangers, or otherwise 2.) Mental health means everything, and if you're mentally unwell, reach out for help immediately because your life truly can get better 3.) Hurting and taking the lives of people who don't deserve it isn't okay, even if people are ignorant to something, ignorance should be forgiven, understood, and approached rationally, not be a catalyst for destruction

This hit a little too close to home for me. I used to have a very similar mindset some years ago, back when most of my time was spent alone. When you're in that state of loneliness, your mind becomes an echo chamber. Suddenly, your negative and positive thoughts blend together. Ideas that were previously outrageous start to seem plausible. Your able to talk yourself into just about anything. That good conscience tries to talk over the noise and keep you grounded in reality, but the longer you dwell in your head the quieter it becomes until you can't hear it anymore. I feel like I would've ended up like Randy if I didn't have the support from my mother and got the help I desperately needed. I was headed down a very similar, self-destructive path. I just wish somebody would've helped him too. Those other people died just for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. It should've never happened. There were so many chances to stop it.

@sierracook33433 жыл бұрын
That's sadly true. Also, I know this isn't the exact scenario, but this kinda reminds me of Robin Williams(my childhood 😔). I guess no one took him seriously or could see any signs that he really needed someone he could talk about his internal problems with and who could've helped him. That he had mental health problems. It hurts me thinking about it. And sadly, comedians tend to be overlooked and not taken seriously because everybody forgets they're only humans who have problems too. Especially content creators. No one should feel this way. This is the reason why it's important for us(humanity) to connect with each other and grow as one, so no one has to feel this way. Human connection(good wholesome connection) is very essential at this point, especially in todays world. If we don't, then I fear our civilization will cease to exist at some point in the future. I'm even concerned about our society right now in all honesty. As cheesy as it sounds, love really is the key.

Back in the day the mothers used to watch their kids growing up but not anymore. They are out there along with the men chasing dollars. But what about the family, the kids ? The one thing I disagree with is calling flipping a coin trivial. It's actually the opposite. It's something I suggest to everyone that they do when they are feeling indecisive about a big decision. It will always tell you what you truly want. The actual result of heads or tails doesn't matter. Your very first emotional reaction to the outcome is. If you look at it and feel a sense of relief then you know that was the option you wanted. If you see it and feel disappointed then you know the other option is what you actually desire. Either way you have your answer. He was always going to shoot up the supermarket. He could have refilmed the coin flip multiple times for the result he wanted to show.

He said he wanted to “mess up a life” I think that’s why he didn’t kill Kristen. He most likely wanted to traumatize a witness, knowing he would die made it plausible to leave a witness since he wouldn’t be arrested later. It was also likely he didn’t know what life he would spare but as he looked into Kristen’s eyes, he chose her in that moment. Really interesting tbh

it's also worth remembering that sociopaths and mass murderers can have a spectrum of empathy that varies from none at all to still having some at a very reduced level, at a very selective level, or otherwise completely detached from their empathy but it can resurface. randy might have felt bad for her or felt some random connection such as if she reminds him of someone he cares about or once cared about, if he had some feelings for or a platonic connection to her even if imagined and unreciprocated etc. for every killer incapable of love there are some who have pieces of it and will express it selectively on close friends and family while carrying out sadism on others. israel keyes is one of the most sadistic killers out there but did spare a few potential victims who reminded him of his daughter. and in this case as he said he didn't hate poor victoria but felt he needed to do it. the other woman was only spared possibly because making eye contact resurfaced a shred of his empathy temporarily so he didn't shoot. that's not meant to be a compliment to randy, he's still a monster for this. but a monsters emotional range and capacity can still be a bit complex and contradictory

The crazy cartoon stuff was just a way to channel his sociopathy and repressed gender identity. But really he belonged in prison.

Randy planned that massacre better than he planned his life.

Life does not give a fuck about our plans, shit happens; I find it amusing that people actually believe in a just world, right now and in broad daylight, bad things are happening to good people and good things are happening to bad people. I look at modern society like a monkey exhibit at the zoo; they throw shit at each other and then wonder why the cage suddenly stinks, frankly, most human beings are no different - humanity is its own worst enemy.

Vegeta from DBZ was 1st and biggest childhood crush but I never once thought I could fly. Even with the things that happened to me in my childhood that made me withdrew into cartoons and anime, I never forgot that I still lived in the real world. These shows were fictional.
