Exploring 6 ISLANDS IN 6 DAYS - Hidden Wonders of Cebu Philippines

Cebu Philippines has some of the worlds most amazing islands to explore. We set out from my home tome Dauin in Negros Oriental and cruised for over 15 hours north to Malapascua island where we had our home base for the next 6 days. During those days we visited the islands of Kalanggaman, Gato, Chocolate, Capitancillo, Malapascua and the sunken island of Monad Shoal.

Don’t crash your drone in the sea like Kulas. Poor Kulas, he can’t free dive in the deep like Finn. He has an Open Water certification and used to be a lifeguard but only swims on shallow waters.

I remember watching your Kalanggaman vlog before and wanted to go there badly. few months past we travelled from Gensan to Cebu then Ormoc and went straight to Kalanggaman with my hubbys relatives from Maasin Leyte. They said if I didn't say we wanted to go they wouldn't even go since it is too far. At the end of the trip they said it was beautiful and glad I asked them to go with us. Looking forward to travel again soon. I miss the beach so much but it warms my heart watching your vlogs.

Ask a geological expert, they will tell you that those are formed by the tectonic plates that runs north to south. Remember the tsunami that happens now and then. Great video good job and thanks for sharing

i remember when i was still a kid in the late 60's there were still small dotted sharks in mactan but in just a few yrs somewhere in the mid 70 a lot of those ocean creatures were gone like clown fish,star fish etc so sad to see them gone due to beach resorts

We live here in Palompon, Leyte, Kalanggaman Island is offshore about 5 miles. My wife's birthday is next week. I think we will go out there on her bday. Take a boat from downtown Palompon cost aboy 10 dollars a person. Go in the morning and return in the afternoon, Camping overnight is also available. Have to reserve ahead of time

Great video - the shark at 13:52 though was a reef whitetip not an oceanic whitetip. Oceanics are a lot bigger and more aggressive

@@FinnSnowVlogs Oceanics have rounder fins esp. the dorsal & pectoral fins and tend to be in more open water, not under rocks. They are pretty aggressive. Reef whitetips are pretty mellow, mostly hanging out in caves and under ledges. Mostly safe unless you corner or provoke them. 2-3m is big for a reef white tip - biggest one I saw was only around 2m - but still awesome you found so many in one place; must be a healthy ecosystem. Would love to go dive with you one day. Keep up the awesome videos ! Cheers !
