Bricks date back as far as the Bronze Age. So the basement very well can be original to the castle. It’s amazing how much more advanced in building they were. Leslie it’s been a pleasure watching you evolve and educate yourself on the architecture and history. The lack of knowledge at times have lost me on many channels but I’m also a really interested in the history of places and how folks lived.

After watching you for 8 years l am never amazed at the new finds you show. It's interesting going back and reviewing your earlier videos. You've honed and improved your presentations substantially. My only regret is that there are fewer discoveries to be made. You were the premier presenters of your time, ahead of all the copycats now lamely following your footsteps. It's been an honor to watch and enjoy your many adventures over the years. Thank you for all you've done. I've sent many a donation in my time, and hopefully, you are earning some utube monetizations now. Just in case you are not l will follow up with one shortly. 💛

Hard to pick a favorite thing in this castle, there were so many highlights. The frescoes, cabinets, paintings, piano's all were very beautiful. It is good that someone has purchased this magnificent place instead of just letting it totally deteriorate. Thank you always Lesley and Danny for continuing to provide us with these beautiful places!

Now your talking Leslie and Danny. Now this is what l love. Then you tell us it wil be restored.Well I really hope so. How wonderfull would that be ? This one is comming back. The antiques are really nice and there everywhere. It looks as if the building is in very good shape. You two are so lucky to walk through this great castle. Thats a pool table. It has pockets. Its a huge one. This is one of the best places you have ever shone. There are so many rooms there. It will take so much money to put this castle back together. Thank you two so much for showing this to us. I thought this one was great. Stay safe and we will see you next week.

Nice to hear it has recently been sold, and hopefully will be lovingly restored, rather than left to rot. It has held up well after being abandoned for quite a while (probably 1980s or 90s? part of that I judge on the refrigerator and the 86 on the barrel). Probably going to take another 10m Euro to fix it up!

You bring this 900-year-old castle hidden from our view to life again right before our very eyes just marvelous! I like Danny love the ceiling Frescos the glorious art that you have shown us in other explorations they render me speechless. But this place is so Mediaeval a highly useful castle with its 900 years ago beginnings. The times in history when art was beginning to be appreciated. The art here is shown in many ways. I collect Italian hand-blown glass in my area it's not always affordable, so I have picked and chosen carefully. The Chandeliers in the castle and the hand cut faceted crystal Prisms are beautiful. Who can say what man made them and how long ago? I just love the historical value of this place I too along with your other viewers can say that this place may very well be one of my favorite castles explores that you have done as well. The beauty of it all is that it is being renovated a big BRAVO' Perhaps we will walk the castle someday who knows but you Lesley and Danny have first introduced me to it thank you time travelers! Sincerely :) Ninamosha B.
