This was lovely, Jennifer. I grew up just round the corner from Polesden Lacey - in the 1960s. My mother used to take us regularly to play in the grounds. It's one of my favourite places to remember from my happy childhood. We lost our lovely mum last year so this is particularly poignant for me. Thank you for sharing your day there.

Reigate is two towns over from where I live and Polesden Lacey is one of my very favourite National Trust properties, especially the gardens. It was lovely to see someone I aspire to visiting some of my favourite places.

Last summer I enjoyed so much your videos from England. Afterwards I discovered it was the change of scenery and "fresh air" that made them so appealing! So I was very happy when you started to include parts of your everyday life outside of your home also when you were back in California. Your home is amazingly beautiful too, but sometimes it is very refreshing to see the world outside😊 Especially for someone living on the other side of the World, it is very exotic to see the surroundings, buildings, nature etc that might be very mundane for you, but totally different from mine. This summer I was really happy to see these England videos again. That is a beautiful country with lot of history, I enjoy every minute! Thank you for sharing your experience with us! God bless you and your family, have a safe, lovely journey ❤

Yes iv visited last summer. We took a picnic and sat I front of the house amongst many others. There was a a bank playing wearing straw boaters and candy cane jackets, its was all very jolly and we loved it! Thank for including this amazing house in your video, it was good to see it again and hear your take on it. All the best Tracey x

I love roses. I'm sure the fragrance was heavenly. My grandmother had a beautiful rose garden in her modest garden. I always think of Jane Austen's , Pride and Prejudice, when I see Edwardian homes. It seems Margaret was able to carve out a satisfying, influential place in society in spite of any defects she may have had. I believe Jane Austen may have added, "and in spite of being a woman considering the many societal constraints." Stay blessed. 🌹🥀🌹

Hi Jennifer, I enjoyed your England Vlog. The elegant Polesden Lacey home was lovely to see. I have never been to England so it is fun to go virtually with you. Enjoy the cooler English weather. Here in northern California it has been over 100 for a week. It cooled down to 90 today, but will go back up to 100 later this week. The English gardens are so pretty. There is just something special about English gardens and home decorating. Thanks for posting this video. xoxo, Karen

Ahhhh your videos are the sweet calm oasis of the parched desert social media lol. We rarely turn the tv on during the day, and sometimes only a few times a week. But turning on one of your videos while we’re doing our chores or cleaning up after breakfast really resets my daughter and my energy! ✨ We’re definitely more calm and patient. I used to play classical music when I was pregnant and a lot in her toddler years and I think it’s so essential for kiddos energy.

We have a National Trust family membership, but we haven't visited Polesden Lacey yet. I will add to our list of places to visit. Those rose gardens look beautiful! Often my favourite part of a National Trust property is the gardens. We recently visited Chirk Castle which has amazing outdoor gardens and a woods to explore. I hope you continue to enjoy your stay in the UK x
