My lands this had to be stunning in its day. It’s heartbreaking to see such ruin. I wish someone would restore it.
@stare67113 жыл бұрын
Hi Susan, like you say, just imagine it in its day, the pool area with a huge roaring fire and a fully stocked drinks and food pool bar would have been great. It’s a complete mystery why anybody would just leave it to fall to pieces like that. . . . . . . Thanks for watching:)

That treehouse though! I could so sit on that deck on a Fall day and lay my head back staring up into those tall trees, smelling the woods and cool air. Getting lost in the kaleidoscope of golden sunlight in the tips of the limbs of trees.

Hi Chrissy, I’d love to know what has since happened to this place, it’s on such a private estate with other millionaire houses and a golf course that surrounds all the houses. It’s so private that you can’t even view it on google street view as they weren’t allowed to go there. I’m guessing that the place will soon be knocked down and an even bigger house built in its place. . . . . . “There’s having money and having taste ... then there’s having money and having No taste” ... my thoughts exactly !! Sometimes rich people choose the most gaudy, tacky, kitschy, ostentatious crap ... thinking they’re outdoing their neighbours, but in reality it becomes a competition for who can achieve the pinnacle of gawd-awful flamboyance. Design is a lot like spice ... add some subtle flavour and it becomes delicious, add too much and it spoils and overwhelms the dish.

No probs mate. Great vids. I live in Lancashire but I travel anywhere really. I am interested in big mansions and was wondering, as I do paranormal and my daughter does urban exploration, could you please send her a few pins of the mansions you have done, also next time I am down that direction we could meet up for an explore if you want!!! My daughter's instragram page is exploring_with_ellie02 and her Facebook is exploring with Ellie and friends. Cheers mate. Also if you ever up this direction I can show you a few.

For those asking about the past of the house.In another video I watched a few months ago they explore the same place.Apparently the owner was a wealthy Saudi who built the place to turn it into one of the retreat homes and have wild parties inside.What happened after that it's a mystery.I don't know if it's true or not,just writing what I heard.

probably still owns it as a tax dodge

A wealthy Saudi with a wine cellar? Why would a Saudi need a wine cellar?

@@dominiquebrown5931 to drink it? As an investment? If he's Muslim, he could still drink. They aren't supposed to, but some still do. It could also be for entertaining, for guests to drink.

The owners probably dead by now, and no one remembers.

@@dominiquebrown5931 plenty of Saudis drink, plenty more collect wine, even if they don't, and no one builds a multi million dollar home without one, it's just one of those things you include, even if unused.

Wow !! This place is Awesome !! So sad that its falling apart. Someone needs to buy it and fix it up its not that far gone. Wish I had the money I would buy it and renovate it !

Hey, I’d also love to know a bit more about this place but there was no paperwork or any clues anywhere to find anymore info from, such a shame as I’d love to know who owned it and can afford to just leave it fall down like that:(. Thanks for watching

SOUTHERN LADY It would probably only cost about 20 million to repair. And that’s 20 million pounds not dollars. Then can you just imagine the upkeep and taxes???😝😂

If someone had the money to renovate it then taxes shouldn't be a problem . If I ever won the lotto this house would be mine ! I just cant understand why who ever owned it just abandon it like that. Why didnt they just sell it . Its a real shame .😔

Hey David, It sure is an impressive building, I still can’t believe that it’s just been left to fall apart like that, must be worth a fortune. Thanks for watching

Stare Sub’d & Bell’d. Please know you’ve a gold mine there. Nothing (on KZbin) comes close that I’ve seen.
