at 8:46 there is a notice from 2006. Its crazy what at least 10 years of neglect can do to a building, paint, rust etc, even when its indoors.

After watching a lot of these, I have decided that places where bad things have happened, or evil people have lived/died, seem to deteriorate a lot faster than places where happy healthy people lived/died. It is almost as if the evil/trauma gets embedded in the structure and eats away at it. Like a residual energy rots it away as opposed to normal neglect and decay or vandalism. I think sometimes even vandals can feel the negative energy and leave without damaging the property. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Prisons and insane asylums always have freaky ass tunnels under them for some reason
@potc420
@potc420 7 жыл бұрын
It's usually cause they were kinda self sufficient and asylums in particular made their own power/heat so in order to do that and heat multiple buildings they need steam tunnels. Prisons I'm assuming could be for what the other guy said lol

I was actually in prison and those are indeed bedframes. What we had was a single bunkbed in our cell, which was just those flat metal slates you'd seen. They gave each of us (only 2 to a cell thankfully where I was) an exceptionally thin mattress to put on top of that metal, and in the prison I was in, the pillow was attached to the mattress--it wasn't separate. That made for some uncomfortable sleeping, I will tell you, and I had woken up more than once with a stiff neck and a headache from my neck being in such an unnatural position all night. Thankfully, I had found a comfy position eventually. I used to work Graveyard Shift of being a Tier Walker (we had to go around every 30 minutes opposite the CO's and check each room for obvious reasons) so at 7:00 am, I had usually been so exhausted that I would fall asleep before I even hit that pillow. :( Forget breakfast...I would sleep until almost dinner time, get up, eat one meal a day (I slept through lunch more often than not also), take a shower or bullshit with the ladies on our Block, relax until lockdown, then wait until I was called back out for my shift. They would provide a small bag lunch at about 2-3 am every night and I had the whole Block to myself. I got to watch what I wanted...it was so nice. By the way, it isn't barbed wire...it is RAZOR wire and I got a good look at it every day for a whole year. Prison is NOT somewhere you guys wanna be. Believe me.

It’s interesting that any abandoned facility on the West coast of the US get’s trash almost immediately these days, vs the Esat coast. This place would have been completely graffitied and beat to crap within 2 years of being closed. There used to be a ton of abandoned mines and towns here in California, Arizona and Nevada that sat abandoned for decades that in the last 15 years have been destroyed by idiots and assholes that can’t look and leave. I’m in my 50’s and we used to explore these places and they were undisturbed. Not so anymore and it’s sad. I appreciate the respect you guys use when filming these places. Keep up the good work.

They touched on this in one of their other videos. Determining if a chair is chillin' is a fine art, but there's definitely a difference between a chillin' chair and a normal chair. I think a normal chair is a chair found in a location where you would expect it to be. It's hard at work being a normal chair doing its' job, even if nobody is around to use it. A chillin' chair is a chair that is hanging out somewhere a bit unusual, usually a location where a person would enjoy hanging around casually. These chairs are off work and are just maxin', relaxing all cool.

Nice videos guys. I worked in a State Prison for 15 years. I saw a lot of familiar stuff. Lot of ' I know What happened there' assumptions. Good work keep it up..

Looked like a Kwickset lock on that door 🤔. Definitely not a lock for any government institution. Thank you for sharing your videos 🙏

I'm so into all of this!! Love your vids, and I have a question. There are a few abandoned places in my town and I'm not sure which would be easiest to go to first. The options are: 1) Hospital with a dodgey 3m high chain link fence surrounded by 4 roads, 2 not busy, 2 kinda busy, mold problems 2) Warehouse which may or may not have security cameras but isn't near any major road, and is inconvenient to get to 3) Abattoir with no security, very inconvenient location and not currently owned by anyone Thanks so much!!

I am by no means the Proper People, but I do have some experience as I explore as well. They are "safe", but you might want to invest in a respirator if you plan on entering an old Hospital and slaughterhouse. Just be careful and do proper research. Good luck!

Tony Stark Thanks! Any help is good, and I am thinking a respirator, they're probably a must have

I like seeing the old dated technology in these abandoned places - old computer monitors and TVs with the fat backs, lol.

With all the beds it looks like there may have also been open dorms as well. Like the big empty areas with the pillars.
