Mr. Goodpliers, you have a strange but wonderful gift. 45 seconds in and I already see the Renault Dauphine! It's on the extreme right edge of the screen when you and Joe are looking at the Frazer. I think this is the fourth one of these cars I've seen in you videos over the years! Still, "Spot The Dauphine" would be a pretty safe drinking game to play. Now "Spot The Falcon"? What a hangover THAT would be! ☺

First few seconds in the video, I saw that Kaiser. I want it! A couple of those Oldsmopiles and Pimpalas, I like those too. Ragging on the VW and Golf, lol. Actually, what you said was true and funny. Do you remember, back in the day, the Dodge Omni and Plymouth Horizon had that same frikkin' body style? Mopar VW's (although I think they were Mitsubishi powered)! What the hell was that about?

I have to wonder if this “collection” belonged to Mike Kattner from Thrall. He passed away recently. He owned a city block in Thrall where there was an old gas station. I have never been to this location, but I about 15 years ago I went with him to a pasture full of similar stuff near Coupland to look for parts for a 62 Mercury Ckmet I was working on. Cars were half buried in the fence row. There was a plowed field across the fence and a hill. The erosion was burying them. He told me his dad started the business and back in the fifties someone wanted to crush cars, and split the money. The guy crushed the cars and kept all the money, ripping him off. From then on he never crushed anything.

Makes you think just how many vehicles are made each year to have so many older cars and trucks just rusting in some field today and these are just the ones you can see and there are many more older vehicles in barns, sheds, garages and out buildings to add
