Exploring a Spring Fed Creek in NE Oklahoma!

In this video, I explore a favorite creek of mine in NE Oklahoma. I just finished looking for some pyrite at a road cut along the side of a highway, and needed to go cool off a little bit. So, I wanted to share some of the scenery, a few of the rocks and even some of the critters that you can find at a creek here in NE Oklahoma. Nothing too mind blowing...just a fun adventure out of the house and away from things like dishes, etc.
This, and my last pyrite video were filmed a few weeks ago and was my first adventure after my injury, so I didn't really push myself too hard. One day I'll come back here and be more serious about finding some fossils. This was more of a "casual" trip and a little exploring for future purposes.

That’s a great swimming hole! Must be spring fed. I’m surprised how similar the fossils look in my area. I see lots of those same crinoid bryozoan and horn coral impressions in chert all around St. Louis
