I stayed at this hotel with my Grandparents in I think 1989 or 1990. It was so beautiful then, I loved the restaurant and little gift shop. The lobby was gorgeous. Sad to see it in this condition.

The brick in that building alone is worth a fortune - I'll bet those chandeliers are valuable too - would love to see them restored somewhere

there were talks to refurbish it entirely, but i guess plans fell through unfortunately.

@@donjoey22 Over and over again. It's changed hands 5 times since 2007 with "plans" to renovate it each time. It's the story of Niagara Falls. I think there's some serious corruption at play.
