@4:03 - That is a manual "old school" telephone switchboard. Cords were paired. One cord was used to answer an incoming call, and the second cord was used to patch the call over to an internal extension, or to an external/outside line. If using the external/outside line, you would dial the number using the rotary dial on the right side. Haven't worked/seen one of these type of switchboards since the 1980's. They were replaced by digital switches that allowed a caller to dial direct.

That would be a great place to setup some basic sleeping quarters and keep some basic supplies. You could have your own safe place in the event you would need one.

Those red pressure blast disks are here too but I'm wondering if those blue circles above doorways are auxiliary passes for cables and ventilation if needed.

@OlavXO7 жыл бұрын
By the time I was here, I had a cheap-ass handheld led-device with no diffuser and a LedLenser wrapped around my wrist for keeping track of the sideview. I`ve invested in some better light as we speak and I look forward to bringing you better videoes in the future. Thanks for watching.

I love your videos. I would like to go exploring too, but i don't know where I could find some places. How did you find out of there?
@OlavXO9 жыл бұрын
+Terri | Killjoy | gamerin1 Thank you for the feedback, most appreciated. You should just start doing research online and old newspapers and talk to a lot of people, especially old people as they know a lot about local history. If you find some places and post them on online forum dedicated to Urban Exploration, people will start to notice that you are serious about it, and will mostly be positive about sharing some other locations with you. Good luck, and stay safe.

Nice video, this would be the 3rd video of yours that i m watching. How do you have the courage to go there alone ? I mean, if the door is open..there are 50% chances of something beeing inside. So far, did you had any encounters of any kind ? When should we expect your next video ? And please make them longer. Take care.
@OlavXO8 жыл бұрын
+monybounty It has nothing to do with courage really, I get so intensely curious about what`s inside that I really don`t think to much about it. In places like this, you know that you are all alone, and you can focus on searching around the place and get control of your surroundings. In bigger complexes and "well-known" locations I do bump into other people now and then, but they`re mostly explorers like me. I`ve had some pretty startling moments with animals though, cats trying their best to give me heart attacks when I open a door in an old house e.g:) I was just in Germany on a big tour to explore several new locations, so you can expect to see new stuff in the next weeks hopefully. And I will try to make them longer. Thank you for your feedback, sir.
@Konde18 жыл бұрын
I got 2 questions for you: 1. Have you ever found anything stashed while exploring? 2. How do you come across these places, just word of mouth or is there like a subreddit or forum where you can find places like this? Or do you do research to find these
@OlavXO8 жыл бұрын
+TheTrolledOne 1. Yes I have come across stuff of significant value and stuff I am clearly not supposed to see. I have never touched any of it, just captured it on my camera. 2.You partly answer your own question; Yes I put a lot of time into research and checking up on rumors. There are also forums for explorers like myself, but they need to know who you are before sharing the exact location with you, This is solely to prevent vandalism and theft. Thank you for watcing:)

@OlavXO8 жыл бұрын
+Dillon Stratos I did read some of it yeah;) but not to much. I have not found too much shocking yet I`m afraid,some dead animals occationally, but I have come across abandoned houses with almost everything left behind, even considerable valubles and jewlery though. I never remove anything from it`s place and that`s also why I never tell openly the locations of the places. TAKE ONLY PHOTOGRAPHS, LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS! Thank you for watching:)

Haha, the thing is why its probably (untouched) he was there last summer so things might changed but its really hard to entry it cause the doors are welded together so you gotta enter trough a small window or under the door if you are really small or take a roap down the ventilation like my brother did.
