This was an excellent exploration. So much history. I loved how Bobby shared so much to better understand the prisoner's lives. The references to bands from the 1960's and 1970's show music was a major part of the prisoner's lives. Again, thank you for sharing this with us.

The musical transition at around 0:57 is extremely well-done and effective. The bluegrass-style banjo plucking that opens this video rather suddenly gives way to a somber and almost menacing background track, creating a very unsettling tone as the viewer is introduced to the building's decaying interior. A masterstroke of presentation.

I see Diana Ross, - The Surpremes, - Bobby Womack, - Donna Summer, - KC & The sunshine band, - The Bee Gees, - Sting, - Prince, - The commodores, - Herbie Hancock, - 4 Tops, - Temptations, & many many more from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s The dude probably wrote all his favourite musicians on the wall so he could imagine their songs in his head while doing his time. Loved this explore showing a side of reality not shown as much. Can understand why bobby goes there probably where he's more at home. People who often spend long time in prison become institutionalized where it's there life the routine is there norm so can be hard to cope outside where there life is not controlled they have to control so they will often end back in. Bobby has a way to go back when he needs to cope to be where he feels at home without getting in trouble and it's his choice to leave like halfway in both worlds. Hopefully will help to being him back to life out on his terms when he's ready

Not necessarily dangerous, but really uncomfortable and unsure of how they could react.

Those double cells are actually a bit bigger than some that are used these days. And those "walkways" weren't for guards to walk down. They were also used as exercise walks. Some prisoners get a 30 minute or so walk time outside their cells each day . Sometimes it might just be 15 minutes. And that's pretty much all the exercise some were allowed
