Hey Ethan! It's Melissa here again lol. Thank you for coming back to these beautiful homes! It also disgusts me to see the mindless destruction. There is absolutely no point to it! Just as you had said, these houses aren't just houses. They were homes that held people and their hopes and dreams. I know I had mentioned before to do turns with your camera a little more slowly and you have done an amazing job! It's so cool to see how far you've progressed since you first started this channel. You should be proud of yourself! You continue to blow me away with your dedication, integrity, and sheer joy and awe in doing what you love so much!

I've watched you for years, like since you were still a kiddo. I've seen other popular explorers go through homes after you and the homes were exactly how you videoed them right along with any items left there that others would just steal. You do exactly as you say you do! Thank you again for posting, I don't mind seeing homes you've posted already. Keep up the great job Ethan!

This damage is so senseless. My hubby and I built our current home using primarily salvaged items and have a beautiful home that cost us a fraction of what it would have cost us if everything was new. The satisfaction of keeping items out of a landfill was an added bonus.

We searched for homes that were likely to be torn down. Checked for permits to renovate, bank repos, etc. Actually found 4K sq feet of rare koa wood floors that were going to be destroyed. Was a chore to remove it but we saved $250K. Our total cost to build was $225K here in the Denver area. Last appraisal for tax purposes was $1M!!!

These are such beautiful homes, it is a shame that they would be demolished in the first place, but to see them fall prey to vandals, is very sad and disheartening! I agree it is very hard to even fathom, or wrap your mind around what type of mentality someone has in order to do this stuff, but unfortunately this kind of stuff is something that will probably never change. The sad reality is, there are probably a lot of kids out there who have some serious issues going on, and also, just weren't taught the importance of respect. The sad part is some will probably never find their way and will go on to even worse things. On the one hand, even though it is unlawful and blatant disrespect and disregard for other people's property to do this sort of thing, but to intentionally target a place and plan to do it for whatever reason, does somehow take it to another level I think.

It breaks my heart to not only see a dream home like this go to waste. Also, see it be destroyed by ones who don't have value and disrespect for what is not theirs. If I had the money, I would so buy those homes in a heartbeat & provide one of them to a family member.

So I went back and reviewed one of the other videos you did of these homes, and the boards at the bottom of the stairs in the foyer in the second house are from Justin’s room. There were two shelves under his name on the wall and then the desk was taken apart. There was a top portion to it. 😢🤦‍♀️😡🤬 Seeing this damage is ridiculous, and, I agree they looked move in ready before the damage. Honestly, the reason I would care about the destruction is because someone spent their lives there, and destroying the home is like saying that time they spent there or the money they spent on building the home was worthless or didn’t matter. 😢😢 Whoever did this needs to get a life, like yesterday!!! 😒🙄🤦‍♀️ Thanks for the video!

I had time today to binge some of your explores and went back to view your original posts for this neighborhood. My favorite was always the first home. You are so kind, but your kindness is somewhat misplaced. Don't feel bad for the prior homeowners at ALL. Feel bad for these beautiful homes abandoned by their owners to be trashed and demolished. They got their money and have since moved on with their lives to bigger and easily disposable things. I would also like to add in regards to kids. Its not just kids destroying these homes. Adults will also take part in the destruction. Many whom are strung out on drugs. Homes invaded by squatters receive just as much damage and are trashed. As an mature adult, when I was a teen, there were opportunities to get jobs at fast food places, grocery stores, malls etc. Now most of these jobs are being filled with adults making low wages trying yo support their families. Those low wage paying jobs were never meant to be worked by adults. So what's left for kids to do with so much idle time on their hands? Sports is very expensive and not every family has the means. There is something far bigger going on and the people who can easily abandon beautiful homes like this are a big part of the problem. Ok..rant over 😂😂

Loved, absolutely loved, the 1st house you originally showed us, but I loved the 2nd houses' kitchen you originally showed us better, and that's how I will remember them. You take such pride in the videos you do and the houses you film and I know their destruction just kills you a little inside. Why don't you lock up the 3rd house as tight as a badgers butt hole to keep the little as*holes out. They'd probably just bust the windows to get in...so sad. I'm sorry for all the mindless destruction you had to discover, just know you filmed them in their prime and preserved them for us and all time. Love and appreciate your work my brother. 👏👍❤🇺🇸

You are correct regarding recycling of march of building materials. I would take advantage of savings like that. A real shame. Damage being done by total losers is unacceptable. Basement dwellers that came out for the day I guess. One suggestion, you speak well by say “like” too much. It is a bad habit many of us get into. You will come across better if you do. Thanks for the tours buddy. Take care

Thats a shame this happened to a beautiful place. So much of that house could have been salvaged. An someone would have truly have gotten to enjoy those items.
