I remember this incredible house with the amazing entryway. Such an interesting character filled home. Large and spread out so that one could become lost wandering around. Really gorgeous sunrooms especially the upstairs and amazing views of the forest behind. Cool jacuzzi overlooking the huge pool. Quite a shame that the house is starting to decay and yes I could see the sloping of the floor in the kitchen. I wonder what is worse to witness, the house falling down upon itself bit by bit or the speedier bulldozing. Both disturbing to me. Interesting tiles in bathrooms and beautiful kitchen area. Thanks for sharing again before it’s demise. Take care of yourself Ethan. Be well and stay safe.

It is such an amazing house. I wish I could've seen it fully furnished. I think it would take a whole lot of furniture to make it feel like a warm and cozy family home. There's so much that can be salvaged. The light fixtures, cabinets, sinks, tubs, toilets, shower doors, faucets, and doors - especially those French doors with the amazing beveled glass. Actually, so much more than just that. People just have to care to hire a salvage company to get it. There's a lot of money left to be made in that house before they level it.

Also, happy to see the vandals have been kept away! With a heavy heart, you're sweet to let us have one more look at this once exquisite timepiece ❤ I love the yard, grill, trees, & pool area as much as the home itself! They truly compliment each other. Bless you Ethan, for your excellent attention to every little detail ( inclusing the window coverings :-) Stay healthy & safe young man❤

I really like seeing you face it makes me very happy and it's very cool to see houses that are in great shape before people start destroying them taking like copper and stuff! It's such a big shame how people find these places and start destroying them. I will never go into a abandoned home and start destroying things that's not right at all and it could make me end up in jail if I tried doing that.

I would like to thank you Ethan so much for sharing these upper class homes that were built back in the 50s thru to the 80s, it really shows the creativity from the standpoint in the architectural standpoint, the creativeness and Artistry in the individual that I designed these homes, it’s a part of our history and it’s just so sad that they have to come down, in my point of view but I appreciate you showing what will be no more at least they’re documented and shown the details and the craftsmanship of these homes. Take care and be safe.❤🤠.

I do agree with you, Ethan I think this outer exterior of the sunrooms both in the kitchen area and front area was added on to the home and maybe that’s the reason why it’s sloping the way it is is because it was an add-on and maybe not properly designed to carry that type of weight to wear eventually it started sloping back down, just in my observation❤🤠.

Hi Ethan 😎🏎💨,I have been so busy,I apologize 😇. I remember that house it’s very beautiful,I love all the French doors!! An actual artist lived in that house along time ago and painted those murals.I looked him up and his artwork is amazing. He pretty much designed that house when he lived there. Nice house like that shouldn’t be demolished ♥️🏡. I like the tile design in the bathrooms and blonde wood is from 1990’s lol I like the open concept kitchen even tho it’s old school.I see how the kitchen floor is bending,definitely something happening under that floor tile. I love that long room with the arch wood with huge windows that’s beautiful. It’s incredible. The ceiling in that arch was painted by that artist. He designed a lot there. I bet that house and the pool was beautiful in it’s day. Glad you got to video it before it gets torn down and save it’s memories of the artwork. I am going to watch your next videos,catching up with your videos. Been busy with Christmas 🎄♥️ 😁

My husband had the best reaction to this video I told him how I like to sunk in living room and the bar right next to it and he's like oh yeah put a bar right next to a f****** living room that just happens to drop off that's smart. I said you put a railing up! He said yeah that way they have more obstacles to go over and then you'll wake up in the morning with piss in every room of the house because nobody could find the bathroom or find their way out😂but either way it's sad to see that go it's beautiful I would love to have it but would need to win the lotto🤔😂

This is such a beautiful home and property! It should be a crime to tear this down. Since the sunroom off the kitchen isn’t connected to the main one, the fact that it’s sloping downward really isn’t a big problem. It just needs new support beams with deeper footings (well it’s probably gone by now so I should say needed). Or it could just be removed altogether. I’ve never seen anything like this house. It has so many unique, high-end features. The water damage really isn’t that bad since it’s only from the skylights leaking, which is not uncommon. It would just require replacing the skylights and maybe some of the roof around them. Inside, it’s just a matter of replacing the affected sheet rock and the few non-structural beams that might have water damage. I wouldn’t even consider demolishing this house instead of making a few repairs. Thank you for the tour. It’s wonderful to see how you appreciate the beauty of these older homes. Maybe people will stop tearing them down and start caring for them before it’s too late.
@rachealsmith513811 ай бұрын
The whole back of the house with the sunroom and the rooms below it looks like it was added some time in the 80s. The sunroom part off of the kitchen was original 60s. They reconfigured the kitchen to be bigger, and that’s why that sunroom is so small. The original brick or rock on the back of the house shows in the added rooms. Gorgeous house, but I would bet that it is not structurally sound anymore.

This house has many things modern constructs lack, style, ambience , period charm cleverly worked into a smooth function. Even the water feature in the entertainment room, to add a background sound of a grotto. The sun porch could easily be the bridge of a starship/ or liner. Awesome......Even the children's room was elegant......
