Packards were alittle before my time but i still see them show up on my local cars shows from time to time. My favorite is the Packard Caribbean that had a three tone exterior paint scheme. It was one of the last Packards that were made in 1956/1957 before they stopped production completely.

Hi , The 37 business coupe is beautiful ,and so four are still left. I always wanted a business coupe and got one on line a few years ago. It's a 1953 Plymouth Cambridge and probably not to many orignals like it . I think Studebaker made them also with Ford and Chevy. Ford had a back seat delete option until 1960. Thanks for the history.

I had never heard of a packard till going to a parts store. That man had two packard ambulances and many people I knew took their last ride in one of them... many stories and now just history... that was in 1958 that I saw those rigs, the ambulances were 56 an 57 models

.. its off the charts cool but my mind drifts when I see a cool bike so have trouble focusing for more than a few minuses at a time and im only half way through the vid after 2 days ..?!! .. ive been to the Dayton OH Packard musem B4 they had a c-cab truck even ..!

Chuckled when you talked about Packard being built like a truck. Used to be pretty common in my area for farmers to buy up old 4 doors and cut the bodies behind the drivers seat and put a flat bed on them. Less than a 1,000 ft from my house is the sad remains of one such victim. Knew of 3 others but pretty sure most if not all were scrapped in the 80s
