I am a casual rockhound myself, and an avid hot springer and camper. To date, that/those springs are my all time favorite, especially the one with the rock wall surround. You can immerse yourself up to your neck while standing.

Yeah, that hot spring was awesome. A close second for me would be fifth water hot springs near Provo, UT. Have to compete with quite a few people for a spot though
@metaglypto8 ай бұрын
@@ThirdPlanetRocks I have heard of Fifth Hotsprings, never been there. Not a big fan of crowds. That said, I have seen 8-9 people in the spring with the rock surround. That's a crowd!

@@metaglypto Haha that is quite the crowd in that little spring! I’m with you on the crowds. That’s why I’m often alone in these videos 😅

Lots of hot springs in Oregon. Most are sort of kept secret...to a degree. Love going in the snow - with boots and a towel!

It’s that last part about boots and towel that’s critical 😂

SE Oregon is one of those places that isn’t mentioned or explored often, so everything there was a cool surprise for me

This means so much to read. Thanks man. It’s one thing to film yourself all day, but it’s another challenge entirely to get over the mental hurdle of it’s good enough to finally post. I’ve got some really cool stuff coming. Amethyst, malachite, abandoned mines, etc. Thanks for sticking around 😎

I have been to Rabbit Hills and Plush. People do not understand how very remote it is unless they have been there. It’s wonderfully eerie. I call it UFO Country, cuz aliens could come and grab you at high noon….and no one would notice. Thanks

Such a strangely empty spot. I loved it out there

It’s a super cool spot. Isolated and calm, nothing around for 150 miles
