Except that it's about 250 miles from southeast New Mexico. More like south central. I did my senior thesis on the olivine bombs from Kilborne Hole. Got some great specimens.

@ just found your channel today. After watching a @agatedad video. We live just below the Mackinac bridge and avid rock hounds. We have been finding agatetized rocks in both Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.

@@garrinking I’ve cut some, but haven’t tried stabilizing any yet. I think it may be chalcanthite, which is pretty hazardous. It has a similar look to this after bring exposed to water

I did that drive about 3 years ago in a 2002 toyota corolla. When i got there i parked next to some gleaming land rovers and jeeps. Shut the door, looked at the wide eyed observers and said "Y'all paid too much to get here." Side note: dont do this. I didnt get stuck going in or back but i couldnt enjoy my time there because the thought of driving back terrified me. Good times.

My brother, your videos are among my favorites. They resonate. I really like the detail you put into your website too. Just want to add that I think it's advised not to wear gloves when operating the saw cause they could get caught in it.

You just made my day. Thank you very much! I am trying to level up my game when it comes to editing. And regarding gloves, these are nitrile gloves that should cut easily if they contacted the saw. That said, I should invest in thinner ones to be sure they will tear away as expected!
