I visit the Brooklyn neighborhood of Park Slope and explore the area which has stunning blocks of brownstone homes that look amazing with the colorful trees of autumn! I eat incredible ramen and Nepalese dumplings at Momo. Then have tea ice cream at SkyIce Thai Food & Ice Cream. Finally, I visit one of the largest parks in New York City, Prospect Park.

Manhattan has some areas that are just as beautiful in the Brownstone realm. But Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights are up next. Walk West Village, a few blocks in Murray Hill, Upper East, Upper West Side. The Salmagundi Club Brownstone on 5th Avenue 🫰🏽.

Absolutely! Neighborhoods like the West Village and Upper East Side are places that I particularly like for their architecture. They're great spots for walks.

Brooklyn was always an exemplary borough In its beauty and what it had to offer in contrast to Manhattan. The same duo that created central park created Prospect Park afterwards as a better version of what Central Park turned out to be. needless to say, are all the equally awesome venues along side it. The Brooklyn Museum / Library / Zoo and famed Botanical Gardens. For decades Brooklyn was viewed as the 'brown' borough, due to its large population of African Americans, Jews , Poles, Italians and Russians. As such it was mostly scoffed at for decades by the so-called high brow residents on Manhattan. But little did people know that Brooklyn far exceeded the quality of living than what was found in the other Boroughs, as it also have the most diversity in residents cultures and types of living. If you really wish to be impressed with the homes in Brooklyn you need to take a trip down Bedford Avenue past Brooklyn college on its way to Sheepshead bay. On a day like the one seen here, the sheer beauty and diversity of homes will blow your mind. Not just brownstones but ranch style homes, mansions. Tudor houses. you name it.

Absolutely! Brooklyn is an amazing place with so much to offer. It's also a place where I need to explore so much more of. I feel like I've just seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Brooklyn. I've made it a point to see a lot more of the borough this year. I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't even been to Coney Island yet, but I'll definitely get to it as well as a number of other places in Brooklyn.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do? And what gave you the courage to up and move to New York?
@Jamesnu

Right now, I do photography. I’ve always wanted to come to NYC because of all it offers, it has always been a dream of mine. So, I sold what I could, saved up my money, made some concessions such as living with roommates and moved to New York. It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

@@Jamesnu That is so awesome, James!! I am so inspired by that. Are you still living with your roommates? How has that been? I have been to NYC twice and absolutely love it! I dined at Per Se on my last trip.
@Jamesnu

@@cardion411 Nice! Per Se is such an amazing restaurant! Yep, I’m still living with roommates. The pandemic has certainly made things more difficult financially, but I’m hanging in there and each month things are getting better. My roommates are great and we get along really well so living with them has definitely saved me money.

@@Jamesnu It is indeed! We loved it!! VERY PRICEY though!! But that's what you would expect from 3 Stars. That's awesome James, I am glad to hear you are hanging in there man. And the fact that you stay with people you actually get a long with is awesome. I would love to connect sometime.
