Hello Kim. When I first started watching your vlogs many months ago, I thought they were definitely travel inspiring yet ordinary. However, now I think they have definitely improved and I enjoy watching them. You have become more than inspiring but desirable to watch. Very good vlogs. If I were able, I would join one of your photo groups to enjoy the Scotland beauty. The coast, the castles, the landscape, the wildlife, the towns and the architecture are all so beautiful. If only .......

I think if there is pretty and vibrant colors in what you are shooting then sometimes during the bright sunlight it really brings those out. Especially like you said how the colors look so good together in the yellow in the flowers and the blue in the sky. Also when you have great color in the ocean it doesn't come out as well without the bright sunlight.

Very good point and observation Travis. I too agree with the sea not looking as colourful and vibrant without the sun.

Wow, a blue sky, blue sea, a lovely village, does it matter what time of the day it is, the crashing of the waves the noise of the pebbles, I would have stopped there all day, again what a lovely video to wake up to on a Sunday morning......Thanks for sharing, that was lovely....

Enjoyable vlog thanks. Really like your enthusiasm but that's what some sunshine can do. I don't have a major problem photographing during the day. As long as the sun is behind you get well lit scenes and the colours can be very vivid, then it's down to the composition.

I suspect that's a rare combination in that location, sunny, warm, and calm. Hearty folk indeed. Nice tour, you'll have to go back for a sunrise shoot someday. Rock on!

Great video Kim. Such a beautiful coastline & I love love love that coastal path, what an inspiring, exhilarating walk. I love crashing waves & those sounds you spoke of. And what I love too is how you mention that it's ok to take images at midday 😊🌞 even though it's not perfect conditions for photography. And without clouds, colour in the sky & interesting light but bright sunshine and blue skies, you can still create images! I think that's such an important message, because even capturing something at the wrong time of day, it's a memory of that moment in time & that's what I truly love about photography 😚 x

I enjoyed this video. I have been struggling with my photography lately. As somebody who can't drive getting out for sunrise/sunset is difficult for me, so it certainly shows that you can shoot at any time of the day.

I'm glad that it gave you some inspiration Mike. Summer is always a difficult time for landscape photographers and for finding inspiration. Experimentation is the key.

I was impressed on my wee trip the other week. Ended up in Gourdon, doing similar to you and shooting during the middle of the day, not edited that vlog or images yet but really enjoyed stopping in at the harbours and will be back up for sure. Looks like you had a good adventure!

"Quirky" Count: 3 And is gorse the same plant as broom? Good job getting midday shots; the waves were particularly nice.
@johndobson19575 жыл бұрын
Is Gorse the same as Broom? No. They are similar though. Gorse has rigid spikes, Broom doesn't.
@anselman31565 жыл бұрын
@@johndobson1957 Broom is also in much abundance at the moment. It brings to mind the old Scottish song "Yellow on the broom". Gorse or broom, the yellow does make for great colour contrast with blue skies and fresh green leaves of trees and hedgerows.

crovie not very disabled or elderly friendly what was the distance between car park and the village. was there any shops or pub can see families wanting to take kids there
@kimgrantphotography5 жыл бұрын
There is a small parking area down in the village for residents but I'm guessing disabled and elderly can use too if needed. There is no shops or pub, just stunning views and wildlife to be enjoyed. Plenty of shops and pubs a few miles down the road at the next village though :)
