My friend tells me she thinks one could rent a banca and "driver" for about 2000 pesos for 6-8 hours. Many of the bancas that do island hopping will try to charge 3000+ near Cebu City/Mactan.

Amazing, the timing of your video Rod. My girlfriend and I are going to Anda end of this month. Thankyou for the great info. I was wondering what type of transportation did you use to get from the ferry port (in Bahol) over to Anda? I and many others really appreciate your informative adventure video's. I love it here in the Philippines as well. Happy Days!

We rented a 125cc motorbike for 6 days for 400 pesos/day Scot and I will be putting that info up very soon. We took a tricycle to our hotel in Tagbilaran City for 2 days first. Most tricycle rides in town seem to be about 10 pesos minimum per person so 2 people= 20 pesos.

Great video Rod! 👍. Now that you have been in paradise for a few years how are you feeling about staying for the duration? And additionally I have a subject idea if you already done it sorry I missed but the subject is end of life arrangements and nursing care for if we finally loose it mentally who makes decisions and how does one deal with immigration when you become too infirm to hop on a flight out after the required 3 year exit period? Can money solve this problem? Great work as always and thank you for the quality videos! Sincerely, BM

I am still loving the Philippines William and it is good to get out of the city occasionally. You pose some very important questions and I have thought a bit about it but don't have many answers yet. Will see what I can find out. A longer term "permanent" visa is one option and requires a $10,000 deposit or investment unless you are military retired, in which case it is less than $1000 I think.

Rod I have a question completely off subject. Something I've noticed I have not seen that many people riding bicycles in the Philippines. Not just your vlogs but several it finally hit me why. In Vietnam they're everywhere
@AmazingPhilippines15 жыл бұрын
That is true boogieman and I am not sure why. I think with more enforcement we are starting to see more bikes but still not that many. They are much cheaper and no fuel needed and most Filipinos don't travel very far either.
@cebuanoninoy5 жыл бұрын
Most of the streets in the Philippines has no separate bicycle lane. So, bicycle riders has to thread among cars, vans, trucks and motorcycle and that would be too daunting for many. Also, Jeepney (equivalent to bus for many countries) are cheap and primary mode of transpo here that you could find anywhere.
