Someone may have already mentioned this, but if you scan the outcroppings it would tell you what they offer. There are 3 different types. Knowing what you might get from each will help you out a lot.

@@elfametesar actually they have changed it now, you need the prop cannon to mmove the boxes instead of jumping from the far box to the top of the others ,tried, last patch because no-one was building the prop cannon and they went to all the trouble of spreading bits outside everywhere

@@MentalEiva its super useless and takes a lot of space. makes no sense to carry it. drop it near your base and it will stay there anyway. also your extra O2 tank slows u down. its pretty useless. i always use only 1 O2 tank. use your seaglide more, its awesome. u move extra slow when swimming with something in your hand.

I was fully expecting that 'first sighting of a reaper' moment, but you just happily swam along without a care in the world (apart from a slightly explodey spaceship) 😆 (seeing how many episodes there are I don't think this is spoiler-y!) Enjoying watch a return of Subnautica. I really enjoyed when I played but had to give up as some of the open water stuff started to stress me out waaay too much. Not sure if you've noticed but the icon in the bottom right shows up if you haven't scanned something yet, the urge to scan and hoard everything is already strong I see!

If you haven't figured it out yet, you can swim faster with your hands empty. (works like that in real life too) The exception to that is the seaglide. (also works like that in RL)

You should drop the creature eggs and random plant seeds. They aren't useful until late game

Use light on seaglide and use it to go deep faster that way you don't use all of your oxygen getting down. Pay attention to how rocks look they look different and each type gives you certain metals or elements.

I was dreading what was going to happen around that 12 minute mark when you were approaching the open part of the aurora. I genuinely felt bad like I wanted to yell, "no don't just meander about, there's a giant monster lurking!" I'm amazed it didn't bother you.

the cargo crates without the black straps can be broken with the propulsion canon (i think its been a long while since i played the game) also ive been enjoying your lets play cant wait to see you mess around with the big cute leviathans

I haven't seen you later videos, I'm watching your episodes while I'm at work. One thing though I thought to suggest was that you can listen to audio logs if you push TAB when a log you picked up pops up on your screen. It allows you to listen to audio logs without needing to be in your PDA. Pretty sure you can listen to them once you close your PDA anyways
