Well that was a lot of fun. My husbands Mum and Dad used to live in Bridgetown and he was a gnome lover. Had heaps of them. Makes me think it wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t find their way to gnomesville after they sold up. 😂 When you were on the jetty with all the plaques I thought at first maybe they were all the people taken by great whites while swimming around the jetty. 😆 (if it was the case, it would not be funny of course. Glad it wasn’t). Great to see the “Nigel” dive again. 😂 I’m with you Sue. I’d rather not take the risk. It surprises me how many people don’t worry about it. Your pasta dish looked great too. Gave me some ideas to try with a recipe I’ve been thinking of inventing. 😁 Looking forward to next week. 🤗💖

Thanks Lynn!! Let me know if you need any more details for the recipe. I usually make it up as I go along haha. And yeah, a girl got taken by a shark yesterday in the Swan River in Fremantle

@@nigelandsueadventures Goodness that’s terrible. I didn’t hear about that in the news. 😢 I wish people wouldn’t take the risk. Seems like it’s playing Russian Roulette. If you have your recipe written out and you have the time you could send it to me on Instagram. Or do an Instagram post about it. Which would be some added content. I have a great recipe for an eggplant casserole which is one of our favourites, but the way I make it, is very time consuming. So, not a quick meal but delicious. I use grated macadamias instead of cheese for layering with the pre fried eggplant and the tomato sauce (an Italian style sauce I make with onions, tinned tomatoes etc).

I've only spent a long weekend in the Margaret River region but I am so keen to get back there one day. Such a beautiful part of the country. What was the name of the first free camp you were at? Something like "Toowut" Forest?
@nigelandsueadventures Жыл бұрын
It really is beautiful around here. The freecamp is in the Tuart Forest just north of Busselton.

I'd be out there with the swimmers. Looks amazing and we love open water swimming. What was the water temperature like?

Just a random question. Where did you get your side windows next to your bed with the mossie screens.
@nigelandsueadventures Жыл бұрын
Hey Steven, we got them from Ozvan. They are made by AJ Plastics in Brisbane. To be honest, if there’s one thing we would change about our van, it’s the windows. We can’t open them when it’s raining. Next build we would put in pop out windows not sliding windows for that reason.
