Thanks for showing me my beloved Bruges, Lowdown. I used to visit there mainly by coach like every year before the pandemic but since then twice cancelled after resuming my cruises. As a mini-cruiser, Jamie influenced me yours. I’m used to smaller ships like Ambassador’s and Olsen’s which my last 2 cruises to Antwerp and the Netherlands respectively. I’ll be on Resilient Lady to Bruges in Aug and Ventura Sep to Amsterdam. They’re a too big for me and I find Virtuosa even more going on. But for my love of Bruges, I may consider her as long as she does this mini in next couple of years. June of London

We went to Bruges, beautiful place, we only had one complaint ,because it was ascension day for Belgium , it was a holiday for the locals so it made it very very busy, the boat trip queue was huge so didn’t get to do that. 😢 we left our walking talking guide and found a cafe and the best baguette I’ve ever had, with a drink, some frites with mayo, and strawberry Belgian waffles, it was busy so service was slow but that suited us down to the ground whilst we watched the horses and carriages go by, and people watched. So all in all a good trip.

we heard the day before we went it had been a Bank holiday that’s why it had been busy. oh yum frites and Mayo and a strawberry waffle! sounds good! hopefully next time you do you can get a boat tour!
