you see what you mean from the looks of things they feed well. Just not so well that there fat. We had two cats they where kitty royalty. They look happy cats open their belly to humans there are happy. IT a way to say "I trust you", so really if the cats where starving they attack you and hurt you when you took the food.

That gray kitty and his little stub tail! ❤️ he’s so cute! Some kitties are just vocal! A lot of those cats are skinny because they are not fixed & outside cats they are usually skinnier then inside fixed cats! But they all seem pretty happy! I love it!

Right, I adopted a kitty 7 months ago, she barely weighed 7lbs, now she probably weighs 15lbs, I had to cut down on her food. I got her a slow feeder but, she knows how to work them and comes and eats the dogs food lol Her names Lizzie but, we call her tubby lol

@@feliciafelicity5456 I had a calico like that lol she was my special kitty. Before I adopted her off the streets, she had to have been someone's indoor cat and they must have just left her. She had a cleft palate so, she did drool lol about 2 to 3 inches from the tip of her tail, it had a hard kink in it, like it had been shut hard in a door and never taken care of. She had been fixed and you could tell she had been an indoor kitty. She was could be so loving but, if you touched her on her back close to her tail, she would bite you but, as long as you didn't touch there, she would let you love on her. She would talk talk talk all day long, She was sweet and sassy lol I gave her a comfortable home for the time she had left.

Those cats were definitely not starving, the way those cats acted around one another was evidence that the cats are not scrapping for the food, if they were being mistreated it would be evident in their coats and their behaviour and those cats looked very healthy. The foxes were another story completely very wrong to keep them like that, but you can certainly see the drastic difference, one they are not enclosed and two there are no cages or leashes on the cats

Being a huge cat lover myself (I've had cats since I was a kid, and I'm 49 now) this must be one of my favourite videos from you, haha! I currently live in Odessa, Ukraine, which is also called a cat city, as there are so many feral cats here. Fortunately most are treated and fed well, but some are not, which is sad. I have one black kittie sleeping away in my flat right now. He keeps coming here and loves to snuggle. My own cat died some months ago, so it's nice to see that he probably sent another one my way :)

I can tell you why; because this isn’t the way cats are supposed to live. I am a rescuer of a cat that lived this way for the first ten years of his life and now has FIV. The cats in this video weren’t fixed (look at the jewels on those boys while Josh was feeding them in the beginning) and I can promise you that if they were to be tested, at least half of them would be infected with FIV and/or Felv.

The cats are cared for by the people that live on the island as they are believed to bring good fortune. It is a finishing island so they get fed by the residents as well as tourists. It's also believed that the cats saved everyone on the island during a Tsunami as the cats fled to higher ground before it hit so the residents followed them.

Holy crap this place seems to have changed so much ever since I was there in around 2014. The boat only had a few people on it and had a tatami room. We were maybe less than 10 people in total visiting. The port was also tiny and just a little house.

As by my id pic I’m a cat person (that’s my xena by the way ) I was impressed actually those cats looked pretty healthy and not overly skinny . Their eyes looked very clean which is the first sign of health in a cat . I’d love to visit that island . I'm so glad that you were able to go to Cat Island to feed some cats & post it! It has been my dream to one day go there s I am an animal lover, especially cats(ginger-colored ones specifically)although I have had dogs as well. Hi Josh, that was such a lovely thing you did, the one cat at the end I think was a she and she was looking for her kittens or maybe a cat friend. Cats are a lot more loving and intelligent than people think, we have 7 cats and they are all very loving and they really can tell the time too as they will wait in the area where they are fed. We give all of our cats Princes tuna every day it has great omega 3 etc and good for them, we also feed them complete food for a balanced diet. One of our cats will play fetch with her toys lol. x
