I saw an old article once where one of the people who created the Drow said that they always pronounced it so that it rhymed with 'Now" and not "Snow". When I first started playing I think my DM was pronouncing to with the snow sound so that's what I called them and it took me reading that article to change it but it was difficult because in my mind I was used to the snow sound. But I always want to be as correct as possible so I just said it until I got used to it.

Funny how the first pronunciation of "Drow" you heard as a kid is the one which always sounds right to your ear. ~ Jeff

@@Thegaminggang Yea, we're wired like that even as adults. Think about it, when you hear a bit or news like a rumor or whatever, that's the thing you automatically think as true and it takes some work to accept contradictory information. That's why religion takes such a hold on people, wiring.

Drow.. As In "Crow". Never used the one that sounds like "cow", myself. Doesn't sound as appropriately dark elven evil to my ears. I guess they both get the point across. 😉
