Very much enjoying this trip through the older D&D modules since I haven't really played them and it's cool to hear a balanced view of them 👍

Oh man, I had Secret Sam! I still have the remains of it, busted and partial as it is. One of my favourite toys. That Roy Rogers toy also seems to be influenced by secret agent media. Ima try to join the live streams again. I've been so busy.

in G2, upper area, location 30 - is a sinkhole down to the White Dragon lair, so the dragons have access to the outside world. When I ran G2 in a campaign, I added the dragons to the outdoor wandering monster table.

Is that from the original module published in 1978? I don't remember that. Was the sinkhole an addition to G1-2-3 or GDQ 1-7? Just wondering. Then again it's been a LONG time since I read G2 in depth.😁 ~ Jeff

@ it’s the original G2 module. I’d have to check if it was removed from G1-3. The sinkhole is only mentioned in the upper section, location 30, there is no mention of it in lower floors, room 2.

Some of the games that are being played in the Polar Vortex slide show. I identified Catan. But I kinda wish I knew what the other games were.

I feel like Pugmire has been a few things over the years. Some itch in the back of my brain says it was maybe FATE when it first came out, then 5e. Or I'm full of crap. Well, two things can be true. Oh, cool about Cthulhu Tuesday. I was actually going to suggest something similar, but you got there first.

In G2 we turned the Dragons against the Giants for trapping them there

I also never understood the thing about the Drow. Always figured they should be albino, maybe with big eyes. Not have jet-black skin. Of course, I've always figured Dwarves & Drow should have to either limit themselves to night travel on the surface, or wear eye/skin protection.
