Greetings from Texas, USA - Just wanted to let you know we have thoroughly enjoyed your channel! My wife and I have been GS 2up riders since 2011 and were lucky enough to live in Europe for five years - being able to tour almost every mainland country including Africa and all of the UK. Now back in America, just have to say, revisiting your Switzerland and Italy Tour videos we really miss the riding and motorcycle community there. Whether tent camping in the rain in Norway or staying in a 5 star luxury inn in the Alps, riding and touring in Europe was such...what we felt...well, a privilege. We made an attempt (back in the day) of doing videos and know the hard work that goes into it. We did it for fun and family never knowing in 2015/2016 how it would take off to where things are today. So, kudos to you for putting in the effort and all the editing you do. In the event you ever bring the bike to America to tour feel free to reach out - we are usually touring in our old Land Rover or on the old BMW bike. All the best! Erik and Erin

Hi Erik and Erin! Thank you so much for taking the time to write a comment. Wow that sounds like you made the most of your time in Europe! Living in America also gives you lots of cool riding opportunities. We feel the same, no matter where we stay or what the weather does it's always a fantastic experience. Thanks so much for recognising the effort that goes into making these (as you well know), it's awesome to be able to reply the trips and journeys and bring back the great memories. We will make it over to the states someday! And it would be great to meet up sometime. Thanks again for your comment and we hope to hear from you again =) Cheers Sean and Emily

Came into Zonza in the opposite direction to your ride last May, in a horrendous thunder storm. When it rains in Corsica, it can chuck it down. Hence all those bridges. Those pigs aren't so cute if try to have a picnic, they will just try to get at the food, you can try and scare then away, but they'll be back. Another great video.
@SeanandEmily8 ай бұрын
We were lucky not to experience a storm there! But the wind did get strong one day so we can imagine getting stuck in a thunderstorm is no fun! Perhaps we would have thought different about those pigs if they had got our lunch lol =) Thanks for watching and we appreciate your comment. S&E

Em was nice and warm while Sean was chilly while riding up on the 10 degree C mountain road but she got hot on the little hike wearing too many layers. Sean says: "Whose fault is that?" LOL
@SeanandEmily8 ай бұрын
Haha =), it's funny Em hates being cold and I hate being too hot!

Few of the minuses of traveling on a bike is to wear the heavy gear when it's hot and messing up your hair in a helmet :) Yet nothing is better than traveling on a bike. Great journey.

That Sums it up well! Messes up both of our hair lol =) Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment!

A great history of Corsica Granite Island by Dorothy Carrington 'Get away from here before you're completely bewitched and enslaved...' Dorothy Carrington was told, while sitting in a fisherman's cafe at the magically quiet midday hour. But enslaved she was. "Granite Island", much more than a travel book, grew out of years spent in Corsica and is an incomparably vivid and delightful portrait. For the first time Corsica is brought to light as a vital element in Europe: a highly individualistic island culture whose people have nurtured their love of freedom and political justice, as well as their pride, hospitality and poetry.

Hello my online friends. How was the smell of nature there?.Napoleon apparently wrote about it too? We kayaked the Tavignano and a few other rivers during Easter about 30 years ago. All the best from your Norwegian on the way towards Nordkapp.

Hi Rune. Indeed the air was fresh and you could smell the pine trees! Kayaking sound awesome! Must have been fantastic to be on the rivers! Have a great journey! We would love to be on our way to the Nordkapp again =) Sean and Emily

Riding in New Zealand I find a comradery amongst motor cyclists unusual for drivers. We often wave, nod and look out for each other. I wish it was like that with car drivers.
@SeanandEmily8 ай бұрын
Yeah that would be nice, although in the UK almost everyone will acknowledge a thankyou regardless of vehicle but you cant beat that motorcycle community! We would love to tour New Zealand someday, such a beautiful country.
@sojourn66978 ай бұрын
@@SeanandEmily thank you for your reply. We were over in the UK last year in a hired motor home. As the driver I found the British drivers in general far more patient and courteous than NZ drivers. We would love to see you over here.
@SeanandEmily8 ай бұрын
Sounds like a good trip! We just go back from filming our next series in the UK, yeah very courteous drivers (for the most part) although some areas are very congested. 😎👍
