When is the best time to go to vail colorado? I went in May but didn't realize it was off season. I set my date for the 1st week of December. Would that be ok? Interested in seeing and doing some snow activities.

It's hard to say for December. Best times to come out are in January and February but if you already have it booked you may be fine!

I’m heading to Silverthorne this weekend.. what would you recommend for 2 adults and a 4 yr old ?

Usually I’d say the ice castles but those are closed this year. It’s also tough since we haven’t really had that much snow. You might be able to do some hikes. Most of the winter activities don’t open until thanksgiving or mid December. You can also ride bikes around the Dillon Reservoir on a paved path.
