I’m 52 and this made me feel ancient. The buildings are there but none of the shops are the same. Loved seeing Cambria again thank you but now I’m sad

That blue two story set of shops, I got my ears pierced when I turned 13 on that second floor. And I did my homework on the beach there. God the memories

Cambria es muy bonito y pintoresco .Lo que más me gustó son las hermosas casas enclavadas en los cerros y...los ciervos y pavos salvajes que deambulan tranquilamente por la ciudad(no donde están las tienda y negocios),sino por los tranquilos barrios!🦌🦌🦃🕊

I went to coast union high school 16 years ago and used to live in San Simeon the one very close to cambria

I mean.. there's even a mute button.. so u keep doing u!. thanks for sharing ur experience.. born and raised near Cambria.. and no longer live in the area.. but truly miss home from time to time.. hence the visual search here on YT.. thanks for bringing my heart back home.. hope ur trip was well worth the longgg plane ride from Argentina!! 😊🤓😇

It's mainly a lot of small mom & pop shop's.. knick knacks.. souvenirs.. oceanic decor.. clothing.. not sure if it's still around or not but used to be a really cool antique shop.. ocean rock/jewelry store.. restaurant.. coffee shop.. a couple hotels/motels.. and probably a few B&Bs.. if I remember right.. might still be there was a small fishing shop/store.. possibly a taffy and candy store as well.. all around a fun and beautiful experience in my opinion..

Vacationed in Cambria with my parents in the 60's...and we moved there in 1972 (so I could attend high school at Coast Union). As is said....nothing stays the same. The sleepy village of my youth has been transformed into a "mini Carmel", full of real estate offices and trinket shops. Those visiting today will never know its charm of yesterday....the Driftwood Cafe, knowing most everyone in town, etc. So long Cambria 😢.

I thought Cambria does have a bit of charm, but yeah, I would of liked to see how it was in the past for sure.

I lived there in the early 80’s. I lived on park hill on Norfolk 😁. My grandmother and great grandmother lived on lodge hill. I went to sooooo many grand chapter and Eastern star events growing up! Such a beautiful place!!!!

yes so true about anyone's town where they grew up including mine not to mention places our family vacationed
