I guess something that I don't understand is, if the Green Pact forbids the harming of plants, then why do the Bosmer have an affinity towards Alchemy? Isn't the use of plant life in making potions harming them?

as he said in the video, the bosmer that follow the Green Pact are pretty scarce in the present times, and it’s usually only the really tribal/traditional villages that follow it. so you most likely wouldn’t run into them in any other province.

Traditional wood elf run where you get the ring of namira as soon as possible and eat everything you defeat. Never eating or harming any plant life along the way. your choice weapon would be a bow

I feel like the High Elves (Altmer, I think, I might be switching the Altmer and Aldmer) are the least original elves, being magical beings that see themselves as being great and above other races.

But I think what makes the Elder Scrolls High Elves is they have been portrayed as "antagonists" with characters and factions such as Mankar Camoran and the Thalmor/Aldmeri Dominion.

Ive also heard (not sure from where) that Bosmer are the most amorous of the Elder Scrolls races, which is why theyre the most populated and that despite being excellent hunters and the whole 'great hunt' thing, they are also the most peaceful race? And their relationship with the Altmer sucks, as in Skyrim Delphine mentions that the Thalmor does routine 'Purges' in Valenwood, killing whole families of Bosmer.

Just had a thought...If the Story Teller god forbade the Bosmer from changing their form or the form of the world around them....Wouldn't the Wild Hunt be considered an act of heresy or blasphemy?

sasamijurai27 So before Yffre helped the Bosmer, they were unable to keep a consistent form. Yffre taught them how to become Bosmer. But he also told them how to change back. Most Bosmer hat the Wild Hunt, but view as a necessary last resort in all out war or to protect their people.

How are they Archers if they cant harm plants? Are all of the fires they need to boil water for bow making, cooking, forging, survival magically sustained? Do they cut off their own ears to make magicka potions instead of just picking Nirnroot? How do they have a steady supply of arrows? Do they have to kill every large animal they come across just to get maybe 8 to 10 arrow sized bones from their limbs? Their whole existence sounds like suffering.

Linguistics major here.Valenwood is pronounced as if you were saying "fallen". Not only is "Valen" German for fallen, it is pronounced as such throughout elder scrolls.Other than that good video
