Great interview. I have a 22 year old daughter with Erb’s Palsey. Absolutely right- everyone has some kind of insecurity. There is always a way.

im 46 and born in a country town in Australia, surgery was never made an option to me and I would guess that most medical people I saw growing up had no idea what Erb Palsy was. I did not find out about Erb Palsy until my 40s until then I thought that I was the only person in the world that this had happened to.

I started following you after my daughter was injured during birth. I couldn’t find any long-term studies about brachial plexus injuries and what to expect. The doctors kind of behave like it’s something kids either bounce back from or they don’t. Could you answer a couple of questions to help me? Has your range of motion gotten better or worse with age? What helps maintain your range or is it even something that you might lose if you don’t do certain things every day. Do activities of daily living make your injured arm hurt more or more susceptible to further injury?

Thank you and Adrian for this. My son is only 5, but I hope this stays up for years to come. I suspect this will be inspiring for him as he enters his teenage years. 🫡
