Meister Eckhart formulated it metaphorically: The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God is looking at me! Thank you Allan and Rupert!

There is a famous saying by an Iranian sufi and poet, called Hallaj, who lived nearly 1200 years ago. That is in Arabic: انا الحق meaning 'I am God/ The Truth' He was accused of being a blasphemer and was tortured, hanged and burnt 😢 God bless his soul. I do appreciate and am thankful for our being free to talk about this teaching openly worldwide.

It took me years to finally realize what "I" actually am. I am that being that existed on the day of my birth. In fact, I am that awareness that existed before my birth. This is something to really take hold of and think deeply about. The immediate reflection is "Yes, but (I) - meaning (my brain) does not remember the day of my birth." This is exactly the point. Everything that came after that day that made the current "you" what you think you are is everything which is NOT you. You are non-self-identifying existence that cannot be aware of itself. That supreme, ever-present, eternal awareness became A "self" i.e. you, me and the other 7 billion "selfs" on this Earth in an attempt to experience, or rather, quantify "it-self" - To use more appropriate or relatable words, GOD (the supreme awareness) became MAN (what you consider your SELF) to experience existence and SELF-AWARENESS. Otherwise, by what means could the complete and total supreme ever-present awareness quantify itself? If that supreme awareness is all that is, then by what method could that awareness prove its own awareness or existence? You, me - everyone - we are all tiny manifestations of the supreme GOD/AWARENESS trying to experience itself in some way that allows awareness to turn around and see itself. A cosmic game of hide and seek. This is why YOU were never born. YOU will never doe. YOU are not a "YOU" - rather you are the supreme awareness creating a game so realistic, it forgets it is itself. Pretty cool, huh?

It is interesting The most important teaching of Jesus was “I and the Father are one” And yet most Christians don’t understand that the I that he referred was the same I that we are The only I that is. The God Being present in each of us. Thank you Alan for sharing the teachings of Rupert

I like the analogy of thinking the light at the end of the tunnel is the I that I am. Before I thought the light was ahead of me shining back at me but this teaching shows me I am the light ( consciousness) shining down the tunnel back at itself. That is so profound to me I can't give too much thought to it because of the finite mind is limited. It seems like understanding a new reality!

Everything is consciousness. The feelings, the perceptions, thoughts, memories. Even those feelings, thoughts that we do not apparently like are also consciousness. The apparent forgetting of this truth is also consciousness. When I realise that for a moment, it allows me to accept the world as it is and it feels so liberating and peaceful!!🙏🙏🙂 Thank you once again!!

Thanks for your continued efforts to reveal these truths to your audience! I believe that everyone who has arrived at the channel would in some way or another have conceive of the thought or would have had a glimpse in some measure that they ( or we) are individuations of God, but it can be known intellectually. I believe also that only God can know itself and can be revealed in us or known to us experientially only in the sound of silence within us.

Hello, Alan. First of all, my enormous gratitude for this compilations of Rupert's speechs. Since 2018 I have been following them. They are a really helpful tool to reach even deeper the Rupert's teachings, as if they were flashlights casting light over his words. And I wonder if it is in part because of your wise choise of the music background. I always check them out through the credits you put below the video and, in doing this, I discouvered some composers that I didn't know before. So, thank you twice. But, as some of your videos does not bring information about the music, I would like to ask you if you could always inform the source of it. I know this is not the aim of those videos, but I think it is even a consideration with the composers. And please, keep doing this wonderful work. Such a priceless gift to us!!! Greetings from Brasil!

God is love. And Love must love. And to love there must be a Beloved. But since God is Existence infinite and eternal there is no one for Him to love but Himself. And in order to love Himself, He must imagine Himself as the Beloved whom He as the lover imagines He loves. Beloved and lover implies separation. And separation creates longing; and longing causes search. And the wider and the more intense the search, the greater the separation and the more terrible the longing. When longing is at its intensest, separation is complete, and the purpose of separation, which was that love might experience itself as lover and Beloved, is fulfilled; and union follows. And when union is attained, the lover knows that he himself was all along the Beloved, whom he loved and desired union with; and that all the impossible situations that he overcame were obstacles which he himself had placed in the path to himself. To attain union is so impossibly difficult because it is impossible to become what you already are!

How do we know that Awareness is eternal?
@alanneachell90924 жыл бұрын
We rest as awareness, (out true nature) knowingly and look at the experience of time and space. We realise that time and space arise within awareness but that awareness itself is timeless and spaceless.
@claudelebel494 жыл бұрын
Timeless or ageless is what is meant. Our bodies age but we do not.
