That building covered in white opposite the Victoria Theatre is a Lloyds Banking Group office but used to be the head office of Halifax building society before it became HBoS and then got bought by Lloyds during the financial crash. Being refurbished and opening in 2025

Ah great. Thank you for that. So many office blocks have needed to be repurposed over the last few years. I hope it gives the town a boost when it opens and brings more workers and financial spend to the area. There’s definitely lots in Halifax for them to enjoy.

Those flowers outside the Victoria Theatre, a tribute to the 2 young men who were stabbed to death in that spot late last year? The killer, from out of town, recently got a life sentence with a minimum term of 28 years...
