Googan needs to make a soft shell coat that has a concealed carry pocket/holster in it. That would be cool.

You can dredge the pond with machines or let in fry of fish that eat the plants and clean it. This way, my uncle cleaned (within a year) his ponds dug in the peatbog (3-4 feet of peat and below is up to 8 feet of mixed sand, loess and clay). The ponds were intended for European carps and grass carp (we call them Amurs), but those are "messy" fish, so he introduced crucian carp - they are the best cleaners (and food for predator fish) in Europe. I think You can find some similar species in Texas. Let the nature do hers job ;) Greets from Poland :)

The way Rob explained removal of the "dinks" was misinterpreted by many. I do agree with a controlled fish stock culling. Not only does give the other ones a chance to grow but it also let's the feed source re populate and for future fish stock to have adequate food.

It was probably good fishing before your lake. Their stunted because of all the food they would get from the creek and banks not being there from the drop in water. Now the habitat has to try to basically start from scratch while being picked clean constantly. All the bait fish and bugs would breed on the bank in the vegetation that's now dried up. But it will come back after yours is full. It just might take a few years.

15:20 You're fishing in 6 to 12" of water, what do you think you're gonna catch? "If you go to the other lake",.. you're gonna "hammer down" because you stocked it. It has no pressure. The water in this pond is low because it's being captured by the other lake, otherwise it would be deeper. You don't need to empty it, kill all of the fish and redig it. The water is already low, just use an excavator, maybe a long reach excavator and/or some couffer dams, and dig it out if you want it deeper. But first, if you don't know how deep or what's in it,... here's a crazy idea, put a jon boat on it with a trolling motor and a depth finder and do some exploring. That might be a worthwhile video. One with a purpose and a goal,.. rather than these aimless ones. If you're looking to 'invest", don't do what he says to do.
