Cecil, I feel I have to be harsh with my criticism here…. You have been putting out a lot of content lately, and every single thing you release is better than the last. You are quickly becoming my favorite KZbinr, and that’s saying a lot because I watch a TON of KZbin. Your love of these topics come through in the scripts you write and the research you do. Good Bad Flix is what you were made to do, and I’m so lucky to live in a time when people like you have a platform for videos on niche subjects. Thank you so much for doing what you do. Cheesy as it may sound, you and your vids are responsible for making my life just a little less crappy. Thanks again Sorry if you feel my criticism was too harsh, but I felt this had to be said. Try to take it in the constructive way I meant it, and don’t take it too hard and start beating yourself up. 🤪

Been circling this movie for well over ten years, first discovering the existence through C.J. Graham's filmography (whom I always perceived as a hulking presence and just discovered I'm very slightly taller which happens regularly, just recently same exact thing with Clancy Brown). Finally got to it last year as a part of Halloween Marathon. Glad to see it featured in "Exploring" series, since people should be more aware of this, definitely a hidden gem and a cult film. A total blast to watch, especially with how much of details and sophisticated Easter eggs there are. And atmosphere is superb, too. Stiller as a cook never bothered me, as his anti-humor just fits within the vibe of everything being off an unenjoyable... in Hell.

There was another movie that was made around the same time in 1990 or 1991 called "Motorama" that always reminds me alot of this film. They both take place in the desert for a good chunk of the runtime and both have a strangeness to them that makes them unique.
