@@xnotic24 thank you :D yeah for a lot of people the launch of this game killed it for them, they saw the reviews and will never touch it.. but the way this game is, I think it will always be niche

I really like that the art style is heavily inspired by Blame!. But overall this game lacks bosses and is pretty buggy on PS5 (don't know about the pc version). I liked the perk system, but the abilitys are meh. I feel like the weapon abilitys are always better. I also don't know how i should feel about the layout of some levels. They just feel like a maze instead of a well crafted level. 5/10 or 6/10 with the desert area by night, because i really really like this level visually.

Heard this game had a ROUGH launch, & saw some footage from…someone, that looked awful. Was scrolling through some games (cause after Lies of P, Elden Ring (I’m so tired of boss fights now-love the world but, Fromsoft needs a new gem; they’ll figure it out) & also Lords of the Fallen which had a rough release but is fun as hell now) Was gonna get a side scroller, ran across this & checked out more trailers etc. It just…looked TOO cool. So I got it. & 1st I was like “oh no. Too floaty, not impactful enough…oh damnit.” …then, I messed w/the settings a bit. Made my character closer to the screen (this helped SO much). Got used to the combat, adjusted my controls DUDE this game is a blast!! I do NOT know exactly what to do with so many items…I’m getting there. But…it’s awesome! Yeah, still a little floaty, the combat isn’t as intense as others. But these devs (what, THREE?)-they’re ONTO something! & it’s fun enough to where I don’t mind the floaty jumping, etc. This game has been an exploration delight! Yeah, it’s not masterclass like Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Lies of P (yes, I believe Lies of P IS master class)-& it doesn’t have quite the combat of Lords of the Fallen (since it’s been fixed) either. But then again? I’m REALLY enjoying it! It’s helped with the burn out too! THIS is the direction to go in, & I hope these small devs get another swing, cause with a little more $, a little more experience, & maybe better…I dunno “etc” They are in the right direction of something incredible I’d say cause I’m loving this! (NOW! If ANYONE could explain, is there a faster way to level up? What exactly to do with crystals or why extract “materials” from a crystal instead? That’d help big time. Obv I’m in the very begging of this-but man, it’s pretty damn cool! (Got a “diary” or letter that says “I have no mouth & I fear no one could hear me scream”-OBV taken from the *incredible* & psychotic horror “I Have No Mouth & I Must Scream”-which was awesome cause, I’m seeing where this game might go and…if so, DEF “Bleak” indeed! Anyone that sees this? Any suggestions; I’m totally open. Very surprised how fun this game is! -or I could just watch this guys vids-NOT a lot of well throughs, etc I’ve noticed. Not a bad thing at all, just kinda want to understand what to do with equipment better-but I’m guessing that gets easier the more people I meet or “find” w/the search mechanic?)

@@RagnaRantz you should definitely watch this guy's videos ... xb but when it comes to leveling up, there really is no need to grind for levels, most of your power comes from gear upgrades which come from handler echoes... but on the handler you also have the ability to craft those gems that you put into your armor and weapon sockets, and thats why you are gsthering so many materials and also why you want to destroy some upgrade bubbles because they give you Essence which is then used to craft most if not all other upgrade bubbles :) so most of your power comes from exploring and finding handler echoes

Yeah I just found out before there actually wasn’t ANY leveling up; just all gear-so makes sense what your telling me (I guess a LOT of work from the devs; nobody wants to “beta test” a game they bought-but GOOD on the devs for fighting to repair this) Anyway, again, thanks man! I really like this game! This is a good start, & again, I’ll watch these vids 👍👍👍

well if you have it and dont mind the jank and all that then yes, the game is much more stable now and its a great experience :D Cant promise you wont get softlocked again though cuz you never know xb but it shouldnt happen..

Lol, something like that. There's more to it, but it was mostly just placeholder stuff from assets they bought which came with these animations if I recall correctly. Since they're fans of the series I think they just left it like that since this game is all inspired by them. But they did replace the animations with new, better ones :)
