I'm blind and this video is really helpful. Never heard of the concerta medication. My friend Nick is on a lot of medications so I could see this being helpful for him.

It's ADHD medication. I do think it's going to be a great feature for so many people.

The speaking rate changed. Seems the rate 1x appears to be .75x and 1.5x is 2x. Would like to see a 1.25x. I use it for listening to novels on iBooks and Kindle. 1x is painful and 1.5x borders on gibberish. At the present moment I am not likely use it because of the speed issues. iOS was better for speaking rate.

Hi I am blind and have autism your video is very helpful I was trying to find a video on voiceover improvements for iOS 16 for a long time I always do research like this whenever a big VoiceOver update comes out because my worst fear when it comes to software updates is reduction in accessibility One thing I think is really neat is that the Mac OS Junior voice is coming to iPad and iPhone when iOS 16 comes out and so are the singing voices although I am a bit scared of the bills one because it sounds scary I think it’s really need that there is a cute boys cold Junior if part of this comment looks weird I am using speech to text since I have a bit of coordination issues I don’t have mobility problems but I do have a few issues with coordination that makes manual typing with voiceover a bit tricky for me also I have trouble spelling in English since I am from Denmark but what I meant is that I think that the bell voice is scary but I like the junior voice it’s kind of cute to have a child voice on the screen reader I think that this voice is probably going to be used a lot with kids that are just starting out with voiceover because that would make lots of sense I don’t like Samantha very much because she has trouble pronouncing names sometimes and is very loud I personally use the thread voice because it is a bit quieter and sounds very calm and friendly but I do hope that they will make a more natural sounding version of it since I love natural sounding voices also another reason why I don’t like your voice thread for my voice over is because I really like the Flintstones and I like that Fred shares his name with Fred Flintstone although I hope that there will be voices that are named after the rest of the family down the line including the neighbors that would be kind of neat oh and I meant that I like the voice Fred not that I don’t like it my text to speech is a bit ly so that my dictation makes a bunch of type of right now and I think that is a bit weird but it happens sometimes I also hope that iOS 16 will improve either the voiceover recognition features so that it will work better and not be so glitchy or that they will make it so that VoiceOver supports all text-based apps so that more apps will become accessible especially role-playing games because I find it hard to find role-playing games that support voiceover a lot of them don’t and I think that if more silver could be improved for better app interface support either via making VoiceOver recognition more reliable or by simply adding a setting that can be turned on that will make VoiceOver automatically synchronize to any app that doesn’t normally support voiceover as long as it has mostly a text base outline oh and I meant voiceover I know that a lot of these typos are gonna be confusing and I apologize in advance it’s just that my dictation is a little bit delete she oh and I meant glitchy

Hi, I'm glad you found it helpful. Yes I totally understand having a preference for certain voices. It will be nice to see if all of the newer voices are on all devices, as it's good to give people choice. And no problem about using dictation to type.

At least you don't have to deal with Microsoft Sam on IOS.

I also had to use Eloquence for a long time because of no alternative, but I didn’t like it so much. Since I use more natural voices, I realized that though it is so familiar to me, I do not only do not like it, I even hate Eloquence…🤢 I hate it being so dramatically synthetic and robotic. As a child I also found it a little creapy… Is well usable for horror movies… But although I hate the voice, I really would like to know who synchronized eloquence…

Hey! At least it's not Microsoft Sam! Yes, I said that! I totally get it if you can stand Microsoft Sam or whatever but not eloquence. I don't use eloquence either.
