I love it here SO much. So many people take it for granted. I literally ugly cried because I'm so happy about how beautifully you represented our little town. I even saw my neighbor Diane running the sewing machine at Jacquart's (stormy kromer). Love it!!!

@@feliciafullwood the next time you're around make sure to stop in Bessemer at Abelman's. It's a clothing and shoe store that has been in the same family since 1887.

thats so weird, copper cup used to be daydream donuts, the coffee spot was an appliance store i belive, but that was 8 years ago. i wish you couldve seen the inside of the old historic ironwood theater though...its really the best part of the town!

We started a series called "Michigan's Abandoned Beauty in HD". We do a lot of traveling and love exploring new places, mostly going the dispersed camping route. In filming the last few months we have probably watched all your videos by now for sure. Just wanted to say we appreciate what you do and have learned a lot from your videos. Thanks for all the great content!

i was born in ironwood and have spent most of the 17 years of my life in this region... this video reminds me just how bizzare the place i live really is lol. anyway here are some timestamps about little things i noticed in the video 1:50 this place used to be a donut shop and it was so cute lol. now whenever my family drives past it we always see 10+ cars lined up and we just laugh 2:08 both of the big miner murals in the town were completed since i was born... honestly it goes to show how much the city has improved in the past few years, when i was born it was a desolate and dying town (in the 1900s it was like 3 times its current size), now it's actually getting some culture back 2:18 wait until you see how much snow & cold it gets in the winter lol 4:30 i've actually only been up there once (though i've seen it many times) and i almost died from fear lol 7:25 you didn't show it but easily the best & sandiest beach of the region is on the other side of that bridge! 9:31 this park is honestly probably one of my favorite places in the area... just so nostalgic, there's so many cool things. also fun fact, there's a lot of unlabeled hiking trails besides the one to the bluff, one of them leads to these two mysterious locked green doors that go straight into the side of a cliff!

Wow! Great photos! We recently returned from a week in the Smoky Mountains for photography, you make me wish I had spent the time here in my home State (and it looks like several thousand fewer people too, ugh!). I feel for Andrew, I could feel that lift and tower height in my stomach from simply watching!! How were the bugs? Our last visit to the UP had the flies virtually force us away!
@feliciafullwood
@feliciafullwood 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I’m so proud of Andrew for doing it and he took it like a champ for being so fearful of heights! The bugs actually weren’t a problem at ALL! We got so lucky. I was expecting the intense black flies but this was before all the storms so there had barely been any rain so I think that helped. Waterfalls we’re a little dry but no bugs! Thanks so much for watching!
