Also, did you notice how all the dogs are large, free to roam, tagged, docile, and cared for by all the people? It’s as if the dogs and cats, which are everywhere, are community pets.
@FreeMusic545 жыл бұрын
yep, i love that. living in germany and if you see a dog here roaming you are going to get ran over by it and it will try to lick you and what not. and the owner is probably overwhelmed and cannot control his or her dog..... in turkey the dogs (not only in the cities but also in the smaller villages) just dont care about humans. if they are watchdogs then they wont let you into their garden or whatever. sure. that is their job. but i never felt i was in danger or disturbed by the dogs walking around in turkey.

Fun fact 🇦🇱❤🇹🇷 Sedefkar Mehmed Agha who was the architect of the Blue Mosque was an Albanian. Search up, Devshirme Sedefkar Mehmed Agha Albanian, and it will say "Mehmed Agha was born around 1540. According to the biographer Cafer Efendi, he was believed to have been originally from the city of Elbasan in what is now Albania. He brought to Istanbul in 1563 as a "Devshirme" to join the janissary corps or palace schools."

Pity about the construction work in the Blue Mosque, but ancient buildings need maintenance. The Hagia Sophia is incredibly old and dates back to around 537 AD and the Eastern Roman Empire/Byzantium. Definitely worth queuing for I think (and I'm not a fan of waiting in line!).

Like A Boss The Egyptian monument, known as the Obelisk of Thutmose III, was brought over from Egypt by Emperor Theodosius the Great in 390AD and erected in the middle of the racing track. Works of art like the Obelisk helped raise the image of the newly formed capital known as Constantinople.

You can also go to Üsküdar in Asian side and have your tea with the view of Maiden's Tower. You can also go to "Ortaköy" which is the area right under the bridge. **Oh, I just saw you've already left Turkey 😂 okay come agaaiiinn byee

I just wanted to say how disappointed I was of the video you uploaded about Anzac days in Galipoli. Your video was very disrespectful towards the Turkish people and always towards ANZACs... you are acting all scared all stuff just to create drama and suspense for your video.. The presence of Police there is for your own protection and for the protection of the graves of the Turks and ANZACs who lost their lives there. They were there to ensure everything goes well and the way you put it out was just disgusting. You recorded the famous monument where Ataturk said "Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives ... You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours ... You, the mothers who sent their sons from faraway countries, wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well. K. Ataturk 1934". You didn't even comment on it. You don't even care of your own people and just make video for views. I am ashamed of your non sense drama and behavior and the lack of empathy you have. Those ANZACs who lost their lives deserved a much better video and explanation commemoration that the bs " oh it was scary" video for views... I never post comments but I am so disgusted I had to write this especially because you enabled your comments on that video. Shame on you!
@DaneAndStacey2 жыл бұрын
You, like many others unfortunately, missed the whole point of the video - probably because you had no idea what was happening at the time! The police made us feel safe and we didn’t say THEY were scary, the fact that they had to be there was scary because there was a terrorist bomb threat! People announcing they were going to blow up the event to kill people in retaliation for a bombing in New Zealand. It was almost canceled! Our families in NZ and Aus were TERRIFIED because of the threat. We welcomed the police, the drones, the bomb scans and the copious security because it was to keep us safe and we never said it wasn’t. Probably a language barrier and a misinterpretation because Aus/NZers knew exactly what we meant but every Turkish viewer thought we were saying something bad about them. We LOVE Turkey and it’s people, such a shame. Check our channel, we don’t do drama for views for f*cks sake.
