Exploring J&L Game Shop in NYC (Memory Lane)

Your correct it is a great game shop for anyone building a video game collection. I was there today and purchased a Gamecube console and the Sega Dreamcast console both for great prices.

I remember Penguin Village back in the day across the street . J&L used to be across the street in the same little mall. J&L was always severely overpriced.

Prices in this store for retro games are ridiculous high

its so sad man. The only retro stores that survived are the ones that charge 2X the normal prices. I remember J and L and VGNY were always the stores we avoided cause of how overpriced they were but now they're all that's left :(

popngames and videogames ny charge way less then what you get at j l games

That store has a lot of Japanese games, but somehow I bought two American games instead which if funny. Japanese Saturn is my favorite probably. Do they have any stores like that over by your area?

We have disc traders. Pretty much like that.. A little bigger. Cant wait for bug to get into video games.
