Hence why we joked that we weren't going to bring another Sea-Doo on this ride.

Kevin, You buckled under the peer pressure 😜 GP1800 😂. Should’ve brought the Sea-Doo😎. (Both machines & companies are awesome!) Awesome video. Hope your daughter had a great time with dad. Isn’t it cold by now? Just curious, when is Yamaha going to allow the rider to turn off the signature rooster tail water spout? Just noticed you had your cooler near the hole.

The "location spout" is a device first created by Yamaha's most famous engineers. As such, and being the Japanese culture, the spout will remain in perpetuity until Yamaha ceases to produce PWC. I have been told point blank, "It will remain indefinitely." As part of our agreement (letting me play with their toys for free), I cannot modify the unit in any way - particularly uncorking the spout.

Hey Kevin, Thanks for the video. What age were your kids when you started taking them out on a PWC? And what seating position do you start them in (in front of you or behind)? My son will be 2 this summer. I know you arent a safety instructor just want to refer to your personal experience and any tips for kids on trips. Thanks. :)

Ha! Well frankly, I am breaking the law. All of my daughters started around 3-years-old, riding in front of me, with their vests latched to me. (Being tethered together doesn't last too long.) Once they turn 5, they move behind me. Most states don't want kids riding until they're 10 or older.

@@watercraftjournal Thanks for the feedback. In Canada they just have to be 32 inches tall and have the correct life vest.

No. This was in loan to us for the season. We returned it when we received the '19 FX SVHO.
