thank you Antoine! Certainly a good looking ski. I have a thing for the triple black seadoos

Thanks for sharing. Don’t worry about those rocks. I have sucked them up twice now. Quick tip. Keep an eye on that camera lens and give it a wipe now and then.
@livinginwake Жыл бұрын
Cheers Bob! Haha I’ve watched your vids with the rocks, not a huge deal huh. There was a lot of lens wiping going on, but was a mission in the rain to keep it clear. Any cams that come with windscreen wipers?? 😉
@bobsudeyko4088 Жыл бұрын
@@livinginwake haven’t seen one with wiper blades yet. I guess I haven’t been out in the rain all that much. Still several months here before we will get back out. Off to Antigua in a few weeks.
@livinginwake Жыл бұрын
@@bobsudeyko4088 pretty much iced over there in the winter? We are lucky here that our winters don’t get that cold, so with the right gear on you can get out on the water in mid winter

Nice one dude :) I do like Lake Rotoiti... was closed most of the summer with Toxic Algae so I missed out on getting out there
@livinginwake Жыл бұрын
Cheers Jason! Yeah I heard about that algae, think most of lake is ok now, might be a bay or two to watch out for still. Such an easy lake to get to and ride, from Tauranga/Mount Maunganui

So good to finally have the rain gone. Glad you managed to get out and make the most of it! Bet you were hanging out

was certainly amping to get out.. hence heading out in the rain, but ended up being a great experience

Just found your channel, love the content! Hoping to grab my first jetski and am looking at this exact one. Seems to be my favorite so far!

Thanks for the feedback! Are you in NZ? The RXP is a great ski. If it’s your first ski, I’d point you in a slightly different direction (if you asked me). Lot of ski first up

@@livinginwake I am in the US. What would you suggest for a first? Loved the Seadoo brand and a couple friends have them and love them so wanted to go that route!

@@NaturalHazards I also like the seadoos. What sort of riding? Long rides, open ocean, or flat water, or something you can throw around
@NaturalHazards Жыл бұрын
@@livinginwake definitely something fun that I could throw around for sure. Looking to ride on open lakes/oceans. Wanting more of a performance one like this I’d say for sure
@livinginwake Жыл бұрын
@@NaturalHazards understand. I’ve had the spark trix, GTI170, GTR230, RXT and RXP. All great but different. Id steer you toward the polytec hull to start. Forgiving hull, durable. Easier to throw around and have a bit of fun. There are the GTI’s that start at 90hp, 130hp, up to the 170hp. All without supercharger. Pick would be the 170SE. Plenty of power for first ski. Tops out around 88km/hr. That would be plenty for first ski. If you were a bit more speed inclined, go with the GTR230. Not much different, but had a supercharger. Goes like a cut snake. Tops out around 105km/hr. The GTR probably the most fun I’ve had on a ski, but it wasn’t my first ski. Tail whips around and slides. Jumps out of water in sport mode. Would go that way then move to one of the 300hp options
