Ha, my friends & I would’ve welcomed this forecast. We went early June, oppressive heat!! We also had umbrellas, shelter from the sun & heat. Haha! The grounds were nice though, and treated ourselves to some “dirty ice cream”. They’re the ones sold by vendors in a cart. Yummm!

The rain was incredible! It was so heavy but it made it very fun! Yes that does sound very difficult to deal with! I had one of those ice creams in Coron and it was so good!

HEY TOM, NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE, I WAS BORN IN THE PHILIPPINES BUT LIVING HERE AT THE MOMENT IN HAMPSHIRE, UK, I AM A BIT JEALOUS AS I HAVEN’T BEEN TO MOST PLACES YOU’VE BEEN TO. I LOVE THE RAIN, AS LONG AS IT IS NOT RAINING LIKE CATS AND DOGS, BEST TIME TO COME TO PHILIPPINES IS SUMMER SEASON, FEB TO APRIL MAYBE BUT IT WOULD BE HOT 40 DEGREES MAYBE, RAINY SEASON IS MUCH COOLER BUT Y;OU WALK AROUND WITH YOUR BROLLY, DECEMBER IS ALSO GOOD, BUT BER MONTHS FROM 1st SEPTEMBER TO 31st DECEMBER IS THE WHOLE CHRISTMAS SEASON, THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS YOU CAN ENJOY IN THE PHILIPPINES WET OR DRY WEATHER, BUT IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE AT LEAST COUPLE OF MATES WITH YOU TO ENJOY THE TOUR AND HAVE FUN, PHILIPPINES AS A WHOLE IS NOT TOO BAD, YOU CAN ALWAYS FIND THINGS TO DO ENJOY. I LOVE YOUR VIDEO FROM BEGINNING TO END IT’S FUNtastic, REALLY AMAZING, THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, MASSIVE THUMBS MATE, MORE VIDEOS PLEASE MATE. MABUHAY

The British also left a legacy in Manila a place called Escolta once the Premier Shopping and Financial center of the Philippines until it looses it's status as the Premier Shopping and financial center in the last quarter of the 1960's only a few turn of a century buildings Escolta derived from the word Escorta or escort as the British Governor General passes this street during the British occupation of Manila during 17th century with his escort name the street Escorta until mispronounced into Escolta. Art lover should visit National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila where the works of Art of Great Filipino painters and sculpture are on display and Leah Salonga"s fan should visit cultural center of the Philippines this where Leah Salonga perform as Annie during her childhood as a stage performer and Where the Audition of Miss Saigon took place in 1989

Very interesting! I will definitely look out for it when I am next in Manila! I will also look to go to the Art galleries as I wanted to go this time, but I just didn't have the time unfortunately! I travelled past the CCP so that was great seeing that but I wasn't able to see it fully! Again, it gives me plenty to see when I am next there. 🙌
@mikeyfraile2402Ай бұрын
@@tommy-boy I would like to correct , it was in 18th century that the British or English as they where called then that occupied Manila for 5 years and surrender the city to Spanish in a Plaza next to Escolta called Plaza Santa Cruz a small marker commemorate the event written in Spanish a small plaque attached in the church' wall sorry for the mistake and welcome to the Philippines and Mabuhay happy touring
