Exploring Manzanita, Oregon | A Hike Below the Neahkahnie Cliffs

An amazing day hike from Manzanita out to big waves crashing into the rocks below the Neahkahnie Cliffs.
The hike went from Ocean Road in Manzanita, Oregon, down the beach to where the rocks begin. Then over the rocks into Oswald West State Park below Neahkahnie Cliffs and Highway 101. A great time watching big waves crashing into the rocks and then scrambling back at sunset along the beach.

Superb film. I especially LOVE the highly aesthetic, graphic and nearly abstract views of the ocean and earth you captured with your drone. And the gorgeous music that complements the images so well, and make them even more beautiful, more poetic, more impressive, more mind blowing. This film makes me suddenly think to French photographer and film maker Yann Arthus-Bertrand, author among many others of many superb films and books as Planet Earth from Above , Ocean, & Home. I hope that during your hikes you will make many more such aerial videos about the incredible natural resources you will keep on exploring, always keeping your own safety as a prerequisite. Beautiful drone footage of the waves. Looked like a nice day in Manzanita! The arial shots of the pools were really sweet. The lighting with the mist was stunning once you walked toward the cape. Fantastic work!

I like listening to the waves...I can almost smell the seawater... Ripples from the sky are amazing. Sometimes, did you feel the winds blow you away???
