Back in June I spent a couple weeks in the western Alps, in the beautiful region of Valle D’Aosta, with the purpose of exploring new places, getting used to higher altitudes and filling my eyes with the incredible beauty of these gigantic mountains.
Join me in a new adventure as I spend two days up in the mountains with my friend Cippo, spending the night in a remote bivak (Bivacco Gratton) in front of a glacier, catching sunrise from Punta Rossa della Grivola 3639m and following a spectacular ledge to complete the loop!
This area is located in the Gran Paradiso National Park.
Loved its vastness, I will be back (maybe on top?)...

Last year our plan was to hike from Valnontey to Punta Rossa, but unfortenately we did not make it. We started too late, so to arrive back on time we returned just after Rifugio Vittoria Sella (rookie mistake, I know). Every now and then I think back and wonder how it would have been up there. Now I know, because of you, Bruno! What a wonderful place, thanks for bringing us there!

Last June was my frist time in the alps, and I went to Valley of aosta...this video just gave me a lot of chilla because the rute that take you down to the Valley at the end (the one you didn't chose) was the frist rute I ve made there!!! Great video man, you might want to try using a dji pocket 2 for your selfie talking shots, that's what I use for my hiking films. In low light, you'll sacrifice quality but during the day it's so stable and looks good with d-cinelike profile. I wish all the modern mirrorless cameras had that level of stabilization but they are still quite wobbly and shaky when walking.
