I found your channel while assisting my daughter with her world geography studies for school. Your channel is excellent and I did subscribe :) Your city is very beautiful and clean. I am a big hockey fan from the US, and I recognized that name Yekaterinburg , but I could not recall where I heard it from. After some research I realized that Yekaterinburg is the home of the "Magic Man" aka Pavel Datsyuk! He is one of my favorite all time NHL players.

I'm American, and have traveled to Yekaterinburg 3 times in the last few years. I have a lady-friend in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. All of her family also lives in Pyshma. I am comfortable whenever I visit Yekaterinburg, and Russia in general. I need to improve my Russian language. Thank you for showing us the new district in south Yekaterinburg. Yekaterinburg is nicer than Moscow in my opinion. -- I've always wondered why Russia did not utilize all the open space that it has, as most everyone I know in Russia lives in a small apartment. -- As I get closer to retirement, I often consider moving away from the United States, due to all the crime and political bullshit. the main reason why this area has “new high standards of living” are Yekaterinburg produces 70% of Russia's bauxite, 60% of asbestos, 23% of iron, 97% of vanadium, 6% of copper and 2% of nickel. Forests cover 65% of the oblast. It also produces 6% of Russia's timber and 7% of its plywood. The oblast’s major exports include steel (20% of its foreign trade turnover), chemicals (11%), copper (11%), aluminum (8%) and titanium (3%). In terms of industrial output, Sverdlovsk ranks second only to Moscow Oblast and produces 5% of Russia’s total.

Despite the severity of asbestos-related diseases, the material has been widely used all over the world, and most buildings constructed before the 1980s are thought to contain asbestos. Many developing countries still support the use of asbestos as a building material, and mining of asbestos is ongoing, with top producer Russia having produced about one million tonnes in 2015.

Nice. I wish i could live there, but driving 9000 km back and forth to my job would be a pain)) The 2-room apartments would sell for about 250.000 Euro/Dollar in my country, my guess. But i hear you, you need a good job and 2 paychecks as well in Yekaterinburg. Architecturally, modern, 'blocky' but colorful and diverse. And the parks, local stores and playgrounds make it awesome. Overall it looks like a nice place to live and raise a family. They should have allotted more room for parking, though... And maybe insulate the apartments better, so you don't have to listen to your neighbor sipping tea😉. If I were a young man I would seriously consider relocating there. The U.S. is in the throes of decline. We have been slowly declining for many years, but lately things seem to be spiraling out of control. I'm very concerned for the children. Please pardon the doom and gloom speech. Thanks for the tour. I enjoyed it. BTW, Lyuda is very talented...And easy on the eyes, too😍.

Republicans love their guns, and they wonder why there is so much crime and murders. Even the police are gun crazy. They will shoot and then ask questions. And they don't shoot once. Multiple police will shoot Multiple times to make sure the unarmed person is dead. The USA is becoming like a 3rd world country. What makes some people here happy is when other political parties are unhappy. It's all politics and being on one team or the other and who will win the next election.

I would have loved to have retired here. I can see that you are proud of your hometown as well as your country. I wonder if you know something about Rick Steves (actually I think you probably do), famous in the US as a travel guide, a trade that he learned from his father. While I am enjoying your vlogs, I examined what you do, how you present yourself and interact with your relatives, friends and strangers, I recognize what amazing talents you have. If I were a Hollywood producer, I would bring your vlogs to our national public broadcast system (PBS) for all Americans to enjoy and learn from. Very nice. So glad to see all the positives in this new complex. I am also glad to see the lady running her own creative business from home. I hope builders will seriously take into consideration the need to insulate better to make it quieter. That can be miserable when there's too many noises.

We have such neighborhoods here in Volgograd at the edge of the city, not such super cool ones like this that you show in your video, this is really a new standart of living, but they are also huge, well-planned, green and beautiful... Unfortunately, all of them have the same problems - they are too far from the "business center" of the city, that is why you need to spend much time on getting to work and back home every day.. And there is always a big problem with public transport. That is why such a neighborhood is a perfect place for people, who work remotely...

Hello. I didn't expect much from this one and I was impressed. They did a good job. Sure, the commute time and lack of parking spots is a typical problem.

The layout is nice. It's all about how well the landscape is done, having plenty of trees, grass & flowers. Good job on the prices & English subtitles.

You mentioned Oslo. I kinda agree on that, main difference I see is we build to a maximum of 4-5 stories and use more wood and plastering. That might be why she mentioned hearing her neighbours quite well also.

Another interesting video. My preference for living is in small remote villages. Of course new developments like you showed look good for those that choose city living. I would like to buy some remote land next to a lake where I was the only person. I look forward to every video you produce and your honesty. God Bless
