Exploring Ojochal Costa Rica- Ojochol walking tour

In this episode of Costa Rica, my friend Vanessa takes me on a tour of Ojochal, a small town in the South Pacific of Costa Rica. Vanessa has lived in Ojochal for all of her adult life and is very involved in the community. We explore some of the stores, shops and restaurants of the town and get a Birds Eye view with video from a drone. This also includes bonus drone footage!

Great video, and it certainly didn’t hurt to have the local Bonita Residente Tica as a guide. 😊 I hope you dive into the area more to show how diverse from Uvita it really is. Plus the dinosaurs. 🦖🦕😂 Ojachal has its own quiet jungle vibe and some Westernized culture mixed with Costa Ricans. There certainly is a lot there that’s not always visible from the main highway or even the roads in Ojachal. Restaurants, hotels, specialty shops, night entertainment, schools and many of the residents living there just looking for a different quieter lifestyle than the beach communities. It’s almost self sustaining, the nearness of the town of Coronado, that is just 10 minutes to the South which also gives you options to more local stores, butcher shops, and many great Sodas as well along the highway. Nice drone shots.

I am still working on pronouncing and spelling Ojochal😅But you are right, it is a very interesting little town with much to explore. The beautiful backdrop of those mountains gives it such a cool vibe.
